I need an expired domain that I plan to redirect to my current Website. However, I am a bit confused about whether AdSense will approve my site after the redirection, as I’m not sure if the expired domain was previously spammy or not. Could you please provide some guidance on this matter?

I perfectly understand you. Google might flag a website if many spammy backlinks point to it, BUT our expired domains were all carefully selected using SpamZilla (the best tool to check expired domains. SpamZilla shows spam scores and all, so it was easy for us to buy domains with zero spam score).
Feel free to buy any of our domains because SpamZilla had certified them SPam-free

That's a great website idea. As stated, our domains are spam-free according to SpamZilla. They all have some backlinks and a reasonable DA that reflects the price. Be careful so you don't do and buy an artificially inflated DA domain. Just search to see what I mean. For the budget you have, you should concentrate on non-spammy domains. If you are insisting on a very high DA, you either prepare about $500 or you get an artificially inflated DA, which is exactly what you are afraid of
