Journey of my first App

Funnily enough, I created my first app 10 years ago but never got into this scene. The app was something I came up with, but as we know, ideas are worthless, and only action counts. Someone created the same concept and is making around $300k per month with an incredibly poor app.

After hundreds of failed projects, costing me hundreds of thousands in losses, the first main goal here is breaking even. Anything that comes after breaking even is a blessing.

My business philosophy is to always start with minimal investment to limit potential losses right from the START. I got 15 applicants, most quoted me over $10k, lowest were for $1k iOS only, but managed to find a guy to do them both with Flutter for $1000. The app looks good so far, and does it's purpose. So the users will be getting what they are paying for. App will be paid, only trial will be free and no options will be available for free as we are here to do business.

Costs:

• $1,000 App from Upwork
• $150 Play Store/App Store fees
• $200 Company Setup

September Overview:

• Website created with a .ai domain name I bought 2 years ago when I came up with the concept
• Ran 10 seowriting.ai articles on the blog
• No rankings for any keywords so far
• Creating content for video editors; I will be using TikTok as an additional traffic source. We will start with 2 accounts this month and will also boost the videos with ads.
• I have read about services to boost installations and reviews, but I have read that can get your app deleted. So I will not consider that after 1-3 months have passed.
• The app has not been listed yet

It's all about how to get eyeballs on your app unfortunately.

In your post, I am not sure you are a investor or developer. of course nearer by investor, but...
what do you want to update more? ranking?
If so, Email marketing or Affilate for your project would be good.

Hi, answering your Q2: the Apple Developer account is a subscription program and costs $100/year with no difference of niche. They have also the Enterprise subscription with $300 but it doesn't have sense.
