Never had one and am never going to have one.
Goat meat and chicken does the trick for me.
As for the price,
Goat meat is 700 INR ($9) per Kg
Chicken is 280 ($3.5) INR per Kg
here in India.

I love them, but unfortunately we have a different species of lobster in this country and survive in the sewers.

I'm not a lobster fan but that is serious money for one so it better change the oil in your car and install a new transmission.
My brother used to bring them home when I was a kid, not sure where he got them and knew not to ask, I've cooked a thousand of them when I worked as a cook in my teens, but it never was a fish that caught on for me.

You can get killed if you try to eat that here in India lol.
Its insane.
Though I am going to try it by visiting Kerala where it is allowed I think.
I never could stomach shellfish. I remember my friend used to keep shrimp in his fishtank and they just used to sit there as if they were dead then everytime the fish would poop they would suddenly spring to life and all dash in an attempt to eat it Was enough to put me off completely

Wow, $5100 for a single lobster is quite the price! While I do enjoy seafood, I’d have a hard time justifying that for one lobster. Would you ever consider it?
