How do proxies work for instagram organic??? (URGENT)

appreciate it. and sorry one more question, but ive been seeing a lot of ppl talk about using a mobile emulator. Do you know how that works, like after you download it, how would you connect a proxy to it etc
I'd love to be able to explain it on here for you, but you'll need a video tutorial. I can tell you that it works though, you can use Nox Mobile Emulator on your PC to do it.

You can configure proxy settings within the emulator's settings or using a proxy extension for your browser. But emulators don’t always match the performance or features of a real device. Another option is to use a cloud-based service to access a virtual smartphone. It usually gives you a more realistic experience because it simulate not just Android browsers, but entire Android devices

have you noticed a difference in performance between using a proxy on ur phone and antidetect browsers, in terms of virality and reach?(basically does posting on an antidetect browser/desktop make your views ass)
I'm sorry, I just saw your question.

I know it's a good rule of thumb, uploading from mobile, to avoid any weird flag.

But, personally no, I haven't noticed any difference.

Using an Instagram proxy hides your original IP address and prevents Instagram from linking your accounts together. Using a proxy won't limit your reach, so you should consider using one whenever you access your Instagram account, whether on your phone or through an antidetect browser. The type of proxy matters; mobile proxies are the best option, but residential proxies works too and they're cheaper.
If you use web browser you will get 0 reach (especially new accounts)

it's hard to configure it correctly and you cannot have many accounts on one phone

Get the best proxy you can afford (preferably 4g/5g dedicated mobile proxy) and connect to it from your mobile, only manage a few accounts per each phone

Don't create or add accounts in 1 day

instead of creating new accounts, would buying ones from accsmarket work too?

Proxies help Instagram users manage multiple accounts and distribute their activities across multiple IP addresses. This can help avoid getting flagged by Instagram's security protocols and getting banned.

Been seeing a lot of ppl talk about using proxies for instagram/tktok organic. But how exactly does that work.

do i need to connect one to an antidetect browser? but if i upload content on a browser, wouldnt that limit reach/views?

do i connect it to my phone, and do i need to reset my phone?

does it matter which type of proxy i buy?(residential, mobile, etc)?

Thanks
It’s best to use the mobile API with mobile proxies for Instagram and TikTok. These platforms closely monitor IP addresses, and using mobile proxies simulates real mobile networks, making your activity appear more authentic.

Key points to consider:

1. Antidetect Browser: While useful, it’s not enough on its own. Instagram tracks IP types, so mobile proxies ensure you’re using a legitimate mobile IP, which lowers the risk of getting flagged.

2. Uploading Content: Uploading via a browser can limit reach. Using the mobile API helps maintain better engagement and avoids triggering detection systems.

3. Mobile Proxies: Make sure each account is tied to a unique mobile IP. Instagram tracks multiple accounts from the same IP and may block or shadowban them.

4. Account Creation: Always create Instagram accounts from a unique mobile IP to avoid getting flagged.

5. Type of Proxy: Mobile proxies are the safest option. Residential proxies can be riskier as they use static IPs, which are more likely to get detected.

In summary, use mobile proxies for each account to ensure security and avoid restrictions.

thank you so much, that was exactly what i was looking for.

One quick thing tho, when you say mobile API, do you mean like an emulator. Or what is that?

Actually I used the wrong term—my bad. I meant connecting from a mobile network in general, not from a desktop, or even just making regular requests. When apps like Instagram see your activity coming from a smartphone (even if it’s spoofed and using a mobile proxy), they trust you more because it looks like you’re a typical user. Most people use IG on their phones, not on a desktop, so connecting through a residential IP on a desktop lowers your trust score.

You want to boost your trust score, since the higher it is, the less likely you’ll get flagged or detected.

Mobile proxies are the best for trust scores and come with extra perks, like rotating your IP to get a fresh one. This is super helpful if you’re running multiple accounts. If you’re using one IP for several accounts, Instagram will spot that as unusual behavior pretty quickly. But with mobile proxies, rotating IPs looks normal since mobile networks often change IPs regularly, even when you’re just using your phone normally.

--------

Just wanted to make that clear as background information. So to answer your exact question:

I suggest running multiple accounts through an emulator or browser that lets you spoof your hardware. Pair this with a good mobile proxy, and you’ll have a solid setup. From Instagram’s perspective, it’ll look like you’re using a regular phone, even if you’re running several accounts at once.

If you want a simpler approach, just use your phone. You’ll be limited to a few accounts, but it’s straightforward. You could use a local SIM plan, but check your local prices—some mobile proxies offer unlimited data for a better deal. You’d need to manually rotate your IP by toggling mobile data off and on, but that depends on your region (it works in most places). However, this method is more limited in terms of automation.

Could you please clarify what you mean by "extremely high quality" proxies? Also, I'm not sure if this is the best metric to use for assessing effectiveness. It seems a bit vague and might not fully capture what an individual would need
He's just trying to inflate his posts.
If you are running your IG accounts from mobile data then no need for proxies. You want to have the IP addresses in constant rotation, that's why people usually recommend mobile or residential proxies. But if you have access to mobile data, you can run your accounts smooth on your mobile device without purchasing proxies. Now if you are on PC, then you will need mobile or residential proxies.
That's the correct answer!

I've been trying to work with those proxies forever... I am currently good with the computer (I bought ISP residential dedicated IPs, reinstalled the PC, added Dolphin Anty, and have a US mobile phone number, so I verified everything), BUT I need to use the Instagram App so I can use more features there. If emulation is possible with a combination of a proxy, is there any guide I can read or can you point me in the right direction?

I’m curious to know why some people recommend using proxies on top of using 4g mobile data? Isn’t the purpose of 4g to… not use proxies? :)

No need to reset, and use mobile proxies. Looks suspicious to use residential ip coming from a mobile
Hmmmm following this logic do you think it would look suspicious to use 4g mobile data on a laptop/pc then?

Not at all. It's not uncommon to have a mobile hotspot for a laptop, or to use an USB dongle with mobile SIM for internet connection.

They are becoming suspicious when you do automation or try to test the limits of your Instagram account. Let's say you do follow too much. Doing this they are looking at lots of things ( they do this by default btw), device type, internet connection, location etc.

It's not unatural to have a residential IP from a Wi-fi on your phone, but if you want to grow your account and make it look more natural, use a mobile proxy IF you don't have mobile data, good luck!
