How do proxies work for instagram organic??? (URGENT)

Been seeing a lot of ppl talk about using proxies for instagram/tktok organic. But how exactly does that work.

do i need to connect one to an antidetect browser? but if i upload content on a browser, wouldnt that limit reach/views?

do i connect it to my phone, and do i need to reset my phone?

does it matter which type of proxy i buy?(residential, mobile, etc)?

Using an Instagram proxy hides your original IP address and prevents Instagram from linking your accounts together. Using a proxy won't limit your reach, so you should consider using one whenever you access your Instagram account, whether on your phone or through an antidetect browser. The type of proxy matters; mobile proxies are the best option, but residential proxies works too and they're cheaper.

appreciate it. I didnt realize you could link a proxy to a phone(mb lol).

But if i were to do it through an antidetect browser. Im posting from a computer/desktop. Last time tried doing that instagram severely limited reach(not the proxys problem, its from posting on a desktop).
How do i get around that? Should i just connect my proxy to my iphone instead

Could you please clarify what you mean by "extremely high quality" proxies? Also, I'm not sure if this is the best metric to use for assessing effectiveness. It seems a bit vague and might not fully capture what an individual would need

Clean mobile proxies that match your GEO are the best I have seen.
 
it is better to use residential proxies and also to upload only from mobile devices, as the browser solution is not the most successful.

I have a weird/stupid question, I would be grateful if you or someone can help me.

I used a proxy to log in from a phone and the IG app registered/linked that account/device to that IP/location*

Should I continue with the proxy on when making posts or using the account? Or I can just turn it off?

*What I mean is in Accounts Center > Account Login Activity is marked as "this device" with that Location of the IP.

I'm running multiple accounts from an Antidetect Browser. I want to try how certain things work from a phone, that's why I want to know if it will still spoof the IP (being already registered) or should I turn it on when switching accounts.

I would advise you to keep using the proxy on your phone unless you have a specific reason to turn it off. Keep in mind that Instagram connects accounts using more than just the proxy. Instagram associates accounts with your phone, so if you've logged into multiple accounts on the same device, Instagram may link them together. Therefore, tread carefully.

If you wish to turn off the proxy, I suggest logging out of your Instagram account first and waiting 24 hours before logging in again without the proxy. This approach maintains consistency in your login patterns, which Instagram’s algorithm prefers.

have you noticed a difference in performance between using a proxy on ur phone and antidetect browsers, in terms of virality and reach?(basically does posting on an antidetect browser/desktop make your views ass)

If you are running your IG accounts from mobile data then no need for proxies. You want to have the IP addresses in constant rotation, that's why people usually recommend mobile or residential proxies. But if you have access to mobile data, you can run your accounts smooth on your mobile device without purchasing proxies. Now if you are on PC, then you will need mobile or residential proxies.
 
you need to use mobile or residential proxies in order to ensure you account life span is higher and not getting banned if you run multiple accounts

unfortunaetly i dont have access to mobile data. So i was thinking of just using proxys, im curious is it better to use an antidetect browser or should i connect my proxy to my phone? Because ive heard that posting on a desktop(instead of on a mobile) limits reach. Is that true?

It's better to post on mobile, for sure. So if you can connect the proxy through your phone then go for it.

appreciate it. and sorry one more question, but ive been seeing a lot of ppl talk about using a mobile emulator. Do you know how that works, like after you download it, how would you connect a proxy to it etc
