Hi all,

Hope you are doing well.

Can someone explain BlackHat Seo techniques that you use to rank in search engines, also White Hat Seo? I know that in White Hat Seo you optimize content and build links but dont know in Black Hat Seo. And how can i avoid getting/purchasing suspicious backlinks, so i wont get penalized from google?

Thank you!

Hey, black Hat SEO includes tactics like keyword stuffing, link farms, and cloaking, which can get you penalized by Google. White Hat SEO focuses on quality content and ethical link-building. To avoid sketchy backlinks, stick with reputable sources and monitor your backlink profile regularly. In general it is hard to give you all information at once, since it is a big theme.

Can i get penalized from google when getting/(buying) a backlink while website that i want to get backlink looks great with lets say DR 20 not too much anchor links, small amount of organic traffic, average content articles, good design of website(not messy)? And what can happen if i want to get a backlink from a website that is one niche lets say fashion and i want to link to my website that is finance?

Black Hat SEO: uses unethical practices, like keyword stuffing and cloaking, to manipulate search rankings quickly, risking penalties.
White Hat SEO: follows search engine guidelines, focusing on quality content and user experience to achieve sustainable, long-term rankings.

White Hat = Write good content and publish good articles and hope the Google gods will give you #1 rankings while Black Hat is taking matters in your own hand and buying backlinks and manipulating the search results, buying social signals and all those stuff, because we refuse to wait 50 years for the Google gods to rank us to the top, they might never come!

How's it gonna get penalized, is it someone else's service your squatting on, or are you running a channel that's yours through your own link on a service, or are you doing all but squatting on someone else's service/channel.

Didnt understand nothing you said. what channel?

Black hat seo and white hat seo are two contrasting approaches to search engine optimization
White Hat SEO, follows ethical and legitimate techniques to improve a website's visibility and ranking on search engines.
Black Hat SEO, on the other hand, employs deceptive and manipulative tactics to cheat search engines and achieve higher rankings.

I created multiple threads based on what's considered Blackhat SEO:

https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/g...uide-to-blackhat-seo-part-2-3k-words.1424475/ - Part 2

Essentially everything that's considered white hat seo are things such as:

- Keyword Research
- On-page SEO.
- Networking for backlinks (reaching out to those in your niche, link for link)
- Optimizing the speed of your site.
- Anything that doesn't breach the ToS. Strategies that are approved by Google/Bing

A moderator that's truly black hat, imagine conversing on other platforms with white hats banning each other over a topic.

Hay bud come to my side,
No bud come over here as well.

Found it funny and didn't realise all mods on all platforms all play white hat.

Here's your answer

I know that in White Hat Seo you optimize content and build links
No first of all WHSEO is a myth.
Going by the definition if you build links yourself it's not WH.
You optimize & share your content to get others linked to your content automatically that's WH.

BHSEO is what practically all SEO's and webmasters do.
From research & market analysis to optimizing rankable content and building links everything falls under BHSEO.

When you're impatient and your approach is aggressive BHSEO becomes risky.
It's short term rank and bank strategy.

Ideally it works for long term if you have a measured & calculated approach to stay under the radar.

you DON'T build links in White Hat SEO. White Hat SEO means you focus on your site only (content, technical SEO, etc) and wait patiently until you die of old age for people to link back to you enough times to rank. That's what's WH SEO is, if you've bought / built a single backlink yourself you've already done Black Hat SEO...

And how can i avoid getting/purchasing suspicious backlinks, so i wont get penalized from google?
well, for one thing don't tag them with "sponsored". This is one of the dumbest things that I've seen in SEO (marking purchased links with "sponsored"), so if you want google not to catch you buying links don't tell them that you've bought them by tagging them "sponsored" :)

Other things to consider are...

- don't use the same anchor texts everywhere and all the time (mix and vary them as much as you can, and keep the dangerous anchor texts - the exact and partial match ones - under 10% of the total anchors of the backlinks that point to that page)

- if your site is fresh / new don't blast it with 100s of links without having a single visitor (you need to remember that google considers backlinks as votes being given by other people, so if your site has no traffic yet how on Earth could other people link to you then? It makes no sense, and it's an obvious reason for penalty that most people miss, so build up your traffic first in whichever way you can, and then start building links, slowly and gradually in the beginning)

- don't buy links from / build links on sites that google considers link farms. Now, how google detects link farms I don't know, but you can easily spot them if you go through their content and check which sites they link out to. If you find a site that links out to sites like yours, or to sites that are worse, or less relevant than yours, with almost every article they publish then this is probably a link farm and its days in google (if even it ranks in google to begin with, which is another bulletpoint) are numbered and you don't want a link from such a site as your site might get penalized too when the link farm gets deindexed

Thank you for explaining.
What does this mean "keep the dangerous anchor texts - the exact and partial match ones - under 10% of the total anchors of the backlinks that point to that page)", as i understood do i have to diversify anchor texts and not have more than 10% of same or variation of keywords? What if i want to rank for only 3 to 4 keywords?
