I noticed that Meta has been scanning and decreasing the followers of the Facebook accounts and pages with ghost or boosted followers, for example, in Vietnam, host boosting sites. I can say that bot followers purpose is to make you seem like a famous person became totally useless because of the new update, and they are finally removing it. The scan is still ongoing, as far as I can see, and I don't know when it will be finished.


I'm an old page creator in Meta, and is the Meta Storm about banning accounts and pages coming by waves? If yes, how many waves and how long does it last?


Additional question. Do they occur before election years?


And, to be honest, Meta is the strictest now. I hope you guys get ready for your accounts and place backups. I hope we can share ideas on what the Facebook scan and storm are all about.

Facebook scans are being done by the automated system Facebook use to scan and review ads, hopefully it will be over soon or at least gets better not any more waves come along lol.
