Hi,

My father asked me to withdrawn his USDT to a bank account, but the last (and only) time I've done a crypto transaction I ended up paying over 40% in commissions, taxes, fees, and other scammy terms invented by the financial mafia, and I'd like to avoid this experience this time, especially since 1) this is not my money and 2) it's a decent amount of money by our standards, and we wouldn't want to waste it all on commissions, taxes, fees, etc...

So, if you've ever withdrawn USDT from your wallet application (on your smartphone) can you please answer these questions:

1. do I need an account with any of those networks (Binance for example since this is - apparently - what my father's wallet is asking me to use), or can I withdraw the USDT directly to my bank account without needing an account with those websites like Binance? If I can do it without a Binance account, can you please guide me on how to do it? Or at least give some important tips that would help me complete the process fast and without hassles.

I am from Romania by the way, so I will need to withdraw this money into a Romanian bank account

2, If an account with Binance is needed, can we withdraw the money fast and clean, or will it take weeks / months of warming the account up, building up credibility, etc?

3. Are there any limits on the amount of USDT that can be withdrawn per day / week / month / year? I will check Binance's website for answers to all of these questions, but given the state of affairs with the big companies nowadays I am finding it harder each day to trust these crooks, that's why your personal experience is more important to me than what their sales and marketing teams wrote on their websites.

4. Regarding the KYC, which documents do I need at any step of the process (creating Binance account, converting USDT into cash, withdrawing the cash)?

4. Last but not least, are there other (non-obvious but dangerous) things I should be wary of with this industry? My entire involvement with the crypto industry had been a loss of 100 Euros in a scam about 2 years ago, and since then I've been staying away from this industry without regret. Unfortunately, this is not possible this time around as I'm doing this on the behalf of my father's because he is even more clueless about crypto than me, and it's a long and ugly story on how he got pulled into crypto, so please don't ask! All I know is that the person who handled all of his transactions is gone missing (what a shock, huh?) and now I have to do this myself...

Anyway, which things should I be wary of / concerned about before withdrawing this money? Thanks!

Sell it on paxful p2p. But be careful of potential scammers. Never release your USDT u till you confirm the money in your bank account.

1. Sign up a binance account

2. Transfer all USDT to binance USDT Wallet.

3. Go to p2p trading

4. Find a best offer and sell your usdt and receive it in your bank account
Regarding step 4, how can I be sure that I'll receive the money?? Once I click "send" the crypto is gone, and getting the cash is pure luck

Thanks for the tips, though!

Hey,

I understand your concerns about high fees and scams in the crypto world. In my experience, withdrawing USDT to a bank account usually requires an account with an exchange like Binance. KYC documentation is typically needed for withdrawals. Make sure to check Binance's limits and requirements before proceeding. Stay cautious and good luck!

Binance is fully secured. to make sure you receive fund only trade with members with Verified badge in it and one you create the order.
there is a 10 min time slot for buyer to send you funds. If he did not send the funds you have the right to involve the binance representative.

also if he send the funds you will get notification to release the funds and the funds will only be released if you allow it. until your complete verification of the funds received

ah-ha, it makes sense...

Do you happen to know whether the Romanian banks will ask questions about this money? I've heard someone say that ING, for example, are pretty inquiry about crypto, so I'm wondering whether I should open up an account with a different bank since our entire family is with ING currently...

it's all good, no problem :)

And yeah, I did think about withdrawing in chunks, I just can't figure out how much is a lot.... Oh well, I'll do more research on it for sure. Thanks for the tips, I appreciate them!

beware of paxful please, many scammers there
noted! ;)

p2p on Binance is safe. watch a video on when to release the payment, i.e when your bank account confirms. P.S ask for screenshots just in case some one tries to scam you.

The first option should be Binance if possible.

Since you are from Romania, consider MultiversX ($EGLD), which is the largest crypto project in your country.

As a third option, you can try Paxful.

While it takes the highest percentage, it is potentially the fastest method.

I've been paid in USDT a couple of times, and I found Paxful to be the easiest solution.

They offer options to create a wallet for you and you can transfer money to your bank, PayPal, or any other preferred destination.

Just do P2P on binance. The buyer will send you money first and once you get the money only then you have to release your crypto so it's completely safe.

yes, but I'm trying to:

1) convert the USD into cash
2) withdraw said cash

I know that cyrpto to crypto transactions are less risky, but when real cash is involved a lot of people are suddenly missing after they receive the money (just happened to the guy that got my father into crypto)...

These being said, thanks for the tips, you guys are already giving me good ideas, which is exactly why I've opened up this thread. Much love to y'all :)

yeah, that's everyone's recommendation, so I'm actually considering it...

Do you happen to know anything about the fees, the KYC rules and whether the banks will inquire about crypto transactions?

There's no fees, higher the exchange rate the more money you'll get.

Binance require KYC in my country so you should check for your country if that's applicable or not.

I have done many transactions and banks haven't inquired about them.

got it! Cheers!

Either find some friend, who need of USDT can give you best rate. otherwise, simply use p2p option.
which p2p option do you recommend?

If it is a huge amount, don't deposit all of it to a brand new exchange account. There is a chance they might lock it for "money laundering" reason.
