1. Most email marketing providers like SES are way too stringent with cold email. As far as I know, SES won't yell at you if you are just sending out transactional emails.hello!

I see you mentioned Sendy as one possible emailing software that can be used with your new service.
How is this new service different/better than using Sendy w/Amazon SES? (which they promote heavily on Sendy homepage)

As someone new to email marketing, what solution would you recommend as the easiest?
I'm looking for the easiest way to get started... can I use my personal computer? do I have to get VPS? I saw your message above re VPS services not liking sending too many emails either? Are there bulk email sending friendly VPS you can recommend that work well with this service?

- Some allows transactional, marketing, and cold email.
Another reason you may want to purchase our SMTP is that we have totally remove restrictions on contact limits. We used to charge for the number of contacts in your email list regardless whether you using an external app like Sendy or SendBlaster to store your contacts. That doesn't make sense, right? So we listened to our users and work in their direction as 97% requested for the NO CONTACT LIMIT smtp. Now we charge based on the number of emails you plan to send per month. And that's it.
2. Yes, you will need a VPS.
Not all VPS wants you to cold email on their server. (I recommend something like OVHcloud or PQhosting
Some of our users have this setup which is one of the easiest: get a VPS, install WordPress on it with the domain you want to send emails with. Install and activate AcyMailing plugin, add the SMTP credentials. And you are done (such plugin allows you to import ALL your email list and start sending). Remember it is installed on a server that is cold email friendly at least; a CentOS linux distribution is common for something like this.
If you don't want to go the WordPress route, you can just install Mailwizz on the server, Just mailwizz and go to Mailwizz backend to add your SMTP credentials and you are done. The last time I checked, Mailwizz also has ton of features including unlimited contact upload.
NB: there is an instruction guide and it takes about 5 to 10 minutes to setup with your sending domain(s).
