I'm am curious what other use cases are their to build bots
 
There are many methods and you can easily make a big money by bots
Just check and research on BHW forum mate
 
You need to test.. only test. I work in telegram. Here you can get cheap traffic. but need to test different hypotheses

People wouldn't do it if they didn't. Generally, the huge majority won't but if just a few do, it could be worth it for the spammer.

It is why spam emails are still a thing despite ever improving spam filters.
 
If it is just for you, I suggest you choose a niche market, such as automated operation software for various platforms. Software like these can reduce labor costs. At present, many studios have more needs, but do they have the ability to develop independently?

Make it easier. Make it take less effort. Make it more fun.

Here is one idea. It's bad, but it works. If you can program something similar in C++ and make it easier to use, money is probably in your bank.

Remember, music and sound effects are the reason movies are so exciting to watch.
If you can do it well with programming, that's a crazy engagement generator on social media.

I guess there are a lot of bots that you can build and win some money with it but the important thing is know where to sell them without getting scammed or having problems because the buyer doesn't know how to use it
