You already answered your question. Your best bet is to find those with ahrefs / semrush, as you will need a detailed and valid customer.

There is no point in finding a traffic website to get sales. You must understand the potential and how to improve, and then you will have to contact them. Therefore, I guess the way you are thinking is just fine. That way, you can offer a high-quality service.

I prefer to work with large companies that offer competitive compensation, rather than spending hours trying to satisfy small clients with limited budgets. In my experience, once you start doing business with major clients, you realize that less informed clients often have unrealistic expectations about SEO.

Linkedin is a great place to start finding clients

I would elaborate a bit:
1) Find CVs or CEOs on LinkedIn and sell your pitch
2) Grow your Business LinkedIn file and get attention from others (this is LinkedIn SEO)

1) Reverse engineering tools like Ahrefs and Semrush by manipulating filters
2) Searching for some keywords, and looking for websites on pages 2,3,4...

To find potential SEO customers interested in your product, you should determine the topics related to your product that users are interested in, for example, come up with many different topics to write about. related content, find keywords, analyze and write content according to keywords that are most searched by users. 50-100 articles and no traffic are mostly wanna be bloggers. Not "clients" willing to pay.
Find real business who want more business more money.
Appart from 2 methods you mentioned try Google maps, yelp, yellow pages etc.

Yeah, agree with your point my friend. I would suggest to get local clients just by analyzing based on Google map results which gives you profitable clients.

Want to find websites with 50-100 pages but low traffic? Use Ahrefs/Semrush filters for low authority+ 50-100 indexed pages, or check page count with ''site: example.com'' on Google. Verify traffic with Similarweb/Ubersuggest. The broken link method is also great-find broken pages in your niche and see wich sites link to them. These sites usually have many pages but low traffic, making them ideal targets.

Just put yourself out there. Marketing yourself is the hardest part, just make sure that your portfolio is golden if looking to hook tech-wise people.
