Good question, last year I built 3 sites dedicated to crypto, articles, updates, live prices and charts, etc, it was just a quick experiment, nothing really serious.

The thing is that I got some traffic and decided to send it to one offer from "prime xbt" where people can buy crypto.

I sent around 100K-120K uniques in total, and made 0 bucks, absolutely nothing. Not sure if the sponsor is shaving like crazy or it was not the best offer to promote. But traffic is fully crypto oriented, mostly bitcoin oriented, because thats how they find me in search engines. 90% of Traffic comes from US, UK, CA, Norway, Spain, France, Germany, AUS, AT, NZ, Italy, Switzerland.

If anyone has anything worth it I would try to send the traffic that way and test the waters.

Most large exchanges will pay you per signup. On binance you can find your referral link on some setup page, no need to sign up at all, it's already there

Skip individual crypto sites and look for crypto affiliate networks. These offer a bunch of programs in one place, like CoinMarketCap or BeRush. You can compare options and find the best fit for your audience.
