SEO is a roulette now?

They are easy to find. But we are not going to share someone's hard work here on the forum for 10's of thousands of people to take apart.

I have a giant list of them that I've made for my AI training. All categorized with multiple data points. I won't share a single one with you though.
Petersonpol has very low ratio of reaction score to posts.

That's usually the case for people with some attitude problem and lack of well planned research.

They think they'll open Semrush and get better results than by scraping / researching Google using own niche-specific tools.

Semrush is a tool for everything which means it's not good for specialistic tasks.

For that you need to have an army of own tools and reports which means SEO is a costly business and isn't only about writing content like some people claim.

Preferably those tools should do tests for you which is having your own data instead of depending on third party data.

Why do they think SEO is some business for kids with low entry barrier? To me it seems this is because it doesn't require degree.

But if you translated to a degree, it would be a multifaceted one. Definitely something a kid would struggle to do.

Or for YouTube, they'll go to "VidIQ" and judge whether they would get results with certain keywords based on verbose statistics.

So they won't get nowhere as they base their judgment on some vanity metrics that nobody except them cares about.

Now if you try yourself with your own tech for b2c, you may discover 1000 keywords in a single b2c niche that not many people have touched. But that's low competition.

Find 100 such niches and you have 100k keywords which will yield some amount of cash / semi-targeted traffic even if you rank randomly.

Still despite on selling crap Sarkar probably the most successful seller here. He disclosed his revenue a few years ago and it was millions of $
You might be right. this is because noob are buying sarkar's links. They actually don't know how quality backlinks are. suppose, if he is selling 1 pack of 10 backlinks. He will send 9 spammy backlinks and 1 little quality backlink that will help the client to move 3-10 spots in google and later the ranking will dropped when the backlink will go to the inner page.

This is true, People think they have become SEO expert when they start knowing and differentiating between some terms and know the use of few tools. It might be because it don't require a degree but also they don't need to prove their expertise. Money can be grabbed from client with false claims, lots of reports can be displayed with the tools and If no results are achieved then it is easy to blame search engines.

This is why you should never outsource SEO instead just grab the all-bell and whistle and automate your strategies.. Use this forum to troubleshoot what you are doing right now.

Using such a community asking whether someone is dead or not, searching for miracle services on market place, or giving all the soul and faith in a dream tool and being dependent on it is the worst thing to do.

Oh no! I am going to cry! haha

People don't want to hear the truth and they still live in a bubble... a lot of BS circling on this forum mostly from people who rely on newbies who are trying to start their affiliate or blogging business. If you are link building seller or other seo service provider you are shitt*ing your pants because if SEO is gone your pointless service is gone too.

When has SEO not been a gamble?

A lot of people think that SEO used to be a slamdunk, but it has never been a slamdunk.

What happened recently is that a lot of the easy tricks and shortcuts vaporized.

If you are completely honest about it, none of this should come as a surprise.

What is so surprising about taking an expired domain of a once high-flying website that used to get a lot of links and traffic from all over the world, and then resurrecting it and just redirecting to your target website?

If you're looking for shortcuts, that window is getting narrower and narrower.

But if you’re looking to add value, then now is no better time than previously.

SEO will never go away; at least on a hyperlocal level, it will continue

The question is, whether people are going to invest in value, whether people are looking to actually build businesses that can withstand the rest of time, or they're looking for a churn-and-burn quick money grab.

Now I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with the latter.

There's no shame in that game.

But please understand that you have to have the time, the resources, and the money to be able to play that game.

With that game, you're gonna take 1000 shots knowing that 900 will fail but hopefully, the remaining 100 will make enough money for the next wave of 1000 shots.

That's how you scale up and make money over time.

They rank quora and reddit where 99% answers are written by angry people.

Value doesn't exactly cut it.
Yes, that's why better to choose niche where these sites don't show up more often, in recent days i have some very positive growth with facts and figures/tables niches, i would be sharing some results soon

I work in a physical store and our site (online for about 13 years now) used to rank page one for numerous keywords in our county, as well as for a few things nationwide. Never used black hat SEO or anything other than mostly on-page optimisation, and it was only this recent algorithm update that killed us after over a decade - now some random shops with no experience and a crap website full of spammy backlinks are above us. We are sat here twiddling our thumbs for the first time in years due to no work, and we never used any black hat tricks - so the massive drop in rankings for some is just because of Google's shitty algorithmic changes not necessarily because your techniques are poor or no longer relevant.

Gooogle is still ranking reddit at the top.

What the fuck is that. xD

I wouldn't think my complaints would be so realistic and universal for all people.

What's wrong,. i always felt special in my complaints!

Yes, SEO can be unpredictable due to constantly changing algorithms and competition.
