It looks ok, I guess, But everything just looks so crammed together and that brownish color has a drab feel to it. The red sprinkled here and there seems a bit out of place. Guess I guessed wrong, don't care for it much. Just my opinion though which doesn't count for much.
You know the old saying, if it aint broke. I applaud the effort though.

Gosh, I'm getting old. While I appreciate the work done on the UI, I'm gonna be a boomer here and long for the old design. The previous logo is burned into my mind.

I always welcome a new nice redesign! Congratulations to the team.
I only have one feedback however:

The readability of the colours (gold on grey background) is much worse compared to the previous design.
I quickly did a WCAG check (contrast checker) and this were the results:



Even for someone with no visual impairements it's kinda hard to read stuff since the contrast between the different colours is so low.

I waited to get used to it before commenting. I didn't like the color scheme but I won't argue with it. The brand colors are your choice, but I agree with other fellas, golden stroke everywhere is distracting.

Proportions are way off, user boxes should stand out more in my opinion. I'd like to see the avatars bigger as I know most of the people from their avatars.

Edit: Older people might need a magnifying glass, maybe it's because of my resolution but everything feels small.

So font size and avatar image size, as posted against threads, are consistent points and something we're looking at, it comes down to mobile optimisation v's usability.

The old Favicon needed to be refreshed in line with the updated and cleaner brand identity.

Instead to golden stroke. The post position should be little lighter than black.
Fixed, no golden stroke needed.

Designer should check color palettes sets instead to mix colors from different palettes

OK interesting, something we could look at.

I don't know why but reading the forum has become a tad difficult, it's putting strain on my eyes. The colors look dull, overall feel of the forum is not as vibrant like it use to be with the old theme.

I know change is constant in life but it's not always the right thing. You shouldn't fix something which is not broken.

There should have been an option to revert back to the old theme.

I agree; however, there were very strong reasons to make these changes ref the accessibility detail here https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/announcement-introducing-the-new-bhw.1585112/page-19#post-17649400 and many other reasons.
As mentioned above, there is no option to revert back.

Because mods in other thread asked for screenshots. For example Jr.VIP badge should vanish for better look.
It's doubled rank for standard Jr.VIP. Better to have just plain text and color on nickname.

Thanks - an interesting idea. We had double Jr. VIP on the old style so kept it. We can review this is for the next update.

Looks good! I like the white theme better than the black theme currently, something about the dark theme hurts my eyes. A few changes I would recommend:

- Avatars a little bit bigger
- Text on posts a little bigger

An extra step to see the ratings which most will most likely not do (or even aware of to hover to see additional stats)
iTrader is suppose to be an instant quick indicator on if they are trustworthy or not or anything to deter from
Even if it's only activated in the Selling Sections, that would be fine too.

Many users have brave where its seemply not working.

When BHW was relaxing to read in the post it now costs a lot of energy.

EDIT: As I look through this I notice more that I hate and not much I like. I do like the position of the profile/user info. But why remove ratings? Please don't tell me you're going YouTube on us like when they removed the dislikes for obvious powder puff snowflakey reasons and politics. You guys are already getting a bad rep due to the obvious bias you've shown towards making a dollar over integrity of your marketplace. I'm just a person who loves BHW and misses the old BHW. Call me ol skool I guess... but if something isn't broken you don't need to fix it.

Seriously, all my sites I prefer straight black dark theme (reddit, facebook, nulled etc etc). This brown is hideous and does not go with the theme of blackhat. It's like if you took the Blackhat market and tried to make it mainstream.

This reminds me of a luxuary Watch wordpress theme I once used with this exact color scheme.
