And in the end non pro girls decide to play the radio all day long.Yes, that's why when you change curtains in your office you don't ask everyone's opinions but you go with professional. Because one will want black, other will prefer pink ones, etc
same I dislike it, want old style ASAPI dont liking at all theme please keep a option to revert to black to old them
Where's the reaction score of a member?
As I said before, $20 was to much boss. Contrast between background and text sux hard on the dark theme. Please fix this.
Would be great an option to revert back to old theme
Fix these themes or give us option to reterve back to OG black
Maybe we should vote on each of the changes so you can weigh our preferences.
Yes.
And multiquote.(text sizes, colors, they blend together)
And lines between elements. so many lines. lines everywhere.
And avatar sizes. why so small? many of us build our personalities here using avatars
And element proportions. (more internal screaming)
And reaction scores. yes, I use them to judge you.
And color fuckery on Jr VIP profiles, so much blue
too much gold too
I am find with most of the rework and looks good honestly and it's nice to see a refreshing change every now and then.
However, there just too much gold.
The Title for each threads

Proposing to change this to just plain old black as it just looks visually better and also doesn't blend in completely with everything else.
While at the same time, it still fits the theme nicely.

You should also ask a mod to create a thread to report bugs.
Like on this page
https://www.blackhatworld.com/form/thread-edit-request.2/select
There is a tab of thread edits in bottom. What is the need of that option on that page ? When I click on it, it says not accessible to me. What is the purpose of showing it then ?
Same opinion. It feels very foreign.
Yeah, accessibility for people that are not 20 in their eyes is really screwed up now. Redo it and do it right, imagen deliver this to a customer, I would be bankrupt by now.
First of all, congratulations BlackHatWorld on this new style update and theme.
However, @joseph15 made a valid point here. From my perspective, I liked the OG style and theme a lot more.
@Diamond Damien Could you guys please implement an option for users to switch back to the old theme, or is that not possible?
For example, I have sensitive eyes and the new style gives me a hard time while reading/browsing the site.
So for users like me, it would be great to have an option to switch back to the OG theme.
Thanks!![]()
I can only imagine the silence in presentation room from client's company, those 1-2 minutes of silence when they try to decide is they are being pranked or not
I would suggest hiring professional designer and UX person for the job, I'm neither one of them, my eyes hurts right now and not in a sarcastic way
Now the different color here and there (white theme), and future-ish design are so distracting for eye, I would say the design not ugly, but not fit for a forum which should focus on reading texting, all in all not good as before at least for readability and accessibility. Avatar is much smaller and quality decreased a lot, ugly as hell.
I also vouch for switch back to previous white theme option, if possible.
It seems like the new theme prioritizes text over images or graphics. I want to buy a new lens to adapt to this new theme![]()
Hahaha, I'm thinking the same thing. I 100% agree with you; the text font is really hard to read. This is shit compared to the old one. Maybe they upload april fools theme instead of the real new one?Personally, I'm not too fond of this and I hope significant updates will be made.
Aren't updates supposed to make things better? This does not look better than the last version, it's just a new version and not a good one.
- The text/fonts are harder to read.
- Users and their flairs are harder to distinguish
- Users look way too similar to each other
- The sales threads are off
- I can't find any positives (at least visually) of what this should have made better than it was before. If you compare other forums that have dark themes like us, they don't have these problems (nulled/cracked for example) as the colors, fonts, and graphs are properly aligned.
So unless some serious changes aren't implemented then I think this will come and bite us in the ass eventually.. Specifically with the new member acquisition because the forum doesn't look professional to hang around anymore.
Link is thisAs the reaction score relates to the member, it's on the member's profile - available if you hover over or click on the member's profile.
Same question - same answer https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/announcement-introducing-the-new-bhw.1585112/post-17648851
No option to revert back is available due to a complete rewrite of the back end.
Please define how you feel they need "fixing". As many people are enjoying the theme and we've had great feedback both here and in our pm's but detail always helps.
Design by committee never works. But appreciate your thoughts in this thread.
Multi-quote appears to be working and the text, colors were always the same. But appreciate the feedback, we can take another look here.
Again lines were always there, lets see if they are still an issue in a week or so. Change is hard for everyone.
Avatar sizes - that is an interesting one and something we could revisit.
Element proportions - subjective, what about the proportions is causing you concern?
Reaction scores are still there - you're judging the user not their posts so hover over or visit the users profile to judge them properly.
Same about of blue? How is this "fuckery? an not just design improvement?
Yeah, we carried this from our old-style interesting idea, though. Appreciate the thought that's gone into that.
You can hit the report button if there is a specific issue on a post. The link is for threads that need editing on the marketplace specifically.
Alternatively, post the link here, and we can review them all in one place as it saves members posting the same thing if they can see it's already being dealt with.
Appreciate the assistance here.
Change always will.
No it's all based on the new accessibility laws coming out soon ref https://ahrefs.com/blog/accessibility-seo/ and it's not just a legal requirement. Although Google at this time has stated they don't consider accessibility a ranking factor, their developer's guide to ranking does directly mention making the world's information universally accessible ref "Google Search delivers on our mission to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful." . So it's not a massive leap when they have accessibility baked into their lighthouse tool that this will be a future factor, we've obviously used a number of other tools as well. But this is a topic for another thread, here I'm happy to say that our designs and improvements keep us in front of the millions of users that visit us.
Unfortunately this isn't possible for all the reasons mentioned above.
Thanks for your opinion, we did and are really happy with the result. As mentioned already this is something we're sticking with. But understand it's not for all. I've personally spent months reviewing these changes and whilst they take a little getting used to they are undoubtedly a step forward in both UX and UI
I believe I've covered all these points in my previous posts in this thread, thanks for your options appreciate the feedback. readability and accessibility scores are improved, and ugly is subjective. If you can be more specific, we can review further.
I appreciate the avatar feedback; we're looking into this.
Interesting. How do you feel we prioritize text over images can you provide screenshots (yes I appreciate the irony here)
Totally agree.I prefer to have the reaction score back to the profile as it was a trust indicator more multiple people here.
This is the whole point of itSo unless some serious changes aren't implemented then I think this will come and bite us in the ass eventually.. Specifically with the new member acquisition because the forum doesn't look professional to hang around anymore
