Hey everybody!
It's the BHW Team here, and today, we have some exciting news to share with all of you!
You see, the current BHW design is a little... dated, right?
Well, we've been hard at work these last few months developing a new design for Black Hat World that we're ready to share with all of you.
Exciting, right!?
Let's break down the changes for all of you.
1. New Colour Scheme
Black and gold? How about black and 'no'?
Instead of having a black theme and white theme, we decided to meet everyone right down the middle, so we've decided to go with a more professional grey colour scheme.
We've also changed the links in the main menu bar on the website to be green. We know some of you may feel like green doesn't really go with the new colour scheme, so that's why we've also updated the logo to be green as well.
2. New Logo
Ugh, another outdated feature that's finally getting a fresh coat of paint.
We wanted the new logo to reflect out communities desire to make money, and what better way to do that than to go from a boring old globe to a dollar bill?
This new logo is simple, effective, and represents the resiliency of the community to persevere through anything!
3. Mandatory Business Avatars
Starting next week, it will be mandatory for all users to have business avatars on the forum. This is to reflect the growing direction.
4. Big Font
With screens getting bigger these days, we know a lot of you can't see that tiny ass font we had before. That's why we've made the font BIGGER, HARDER, BETTER, FASTER, STRONGER; and most of all, BIGGER.
5. New Font
Arial is boring and basic. I mean, who uses arial these days? Yuck!
It's not even all that professional to use arial. It's just the default font, and here at BHW, we aren't "default" anything.
Now Times New Roman, that's professional, and that's what we're going for.
6. Red Bookmarks Button
"Watching, watching, watching".
There's a watch button, guys. But we get it, you couldn't see it before, and that's why we made the bookmarks button red.

7. More Padding
There wasn't enough padding between posts, and we wanted to make the homepage space above the fold more valuable, so added more padding.
8. Big Number Button
Like I said, we're going bigger and better with this new theme, so we made the page number buttons bigger, too!
9. Purple "Please Read" Notices
I told @Diamond Damien, "Hey man, there's not enough purple of BHW", so he let me add a splash of purple by making the "Please Read" notices purple.

10. Seasonal Effects
Last but not least, we'll be introducing seasonal effects to our forum.

The Top 10 Changes To The New BHW Design

- Leaves falling down the page in autumn
- Snow in the winter.
- Flowers in the spring
- Sun rays for the summer.
Final Thoughts
We know many of you are going to love this new theme. In fact, it was already foretold through gyromancy that we'd have many lurkers suddenly sign up to BHW just to say how much they love the new theme.Yes, gyromancy!
