So I accepted payments from a client over Crypto, and the client needed some blog articles done.
The estimated amount was $704, which worked out to be around 0.011 BTC.
He had it transferred around noon yesterday, and I kept on checking for hours together and nothing showed ups on my Zebpay.com crypto wallet.
After 8 hours, I got back to the client again, saying the payment is still stuck, as I received no confirmation on the Zebpay.com crypto wallet.
Now, I had given him my wallet address which can be found here:
35b6wqLPownKvFfzzGgpq5AhPL6aynuM4D
He promptly responded, saying the funds were transferred.
I checked on the blockchain, and it showed some transaction in progress but I received nothing.
I rechecked my Zebpay.com wallet, and I received nothing.
Later in the day ( almost 10 hours from the transaction being made), when I got back again to the client saying I received nothing on the wallet, he said the transaction is processed, and I looked up on the blockchain and found the transaction being completed-- and my wallet showing balances of .011 BTC!
However, the Zebpay.com wallet showed the transaction still in progress.
And today morning, I looked up the blockchain with the wallet info and I found that the transaction has been completed, and another transaction of outward remittance has also taken place, but my Zebpay wallet shows zero BTC even now with the inward transaction still "in progress"
I'm not an expert in Crypto but this is a "catch 22" situation in which I don't know what to tell the client, and how to process the order because I have not received any funds, and the client from his end has paid.
My other question, and the most important ones are:
1) The wallet shows two transactions on the wallet ( One incoming and one outgoing with different fees of transaction), whereas the Zebpay.com wallet info shows " Under process inward transaction" { and no mention of it getting processed, or any mention of outward transaction}
2) Why different fees for such transactions-- Inward and Outward-- on the wallet as reported on blockchain? ( which is unreported on Zebpay.com)
Am I being scammed by Zebpay.com?
Or is anyone hacking my account and siphoning off the funds without my knowledge?
