Monetizing a Porn Aggregator Site

Yo guys. I recently came across the daily database dumps of large porn sites and that got me interested in making an aggregator.

The gist is to offer something different from the big sites by doing tailored:
1. aggregation based on categories, tags, actresses, titles, duration.
2. filtering based on user's previous search terms and watches.
3. optimize for SEO
3. maybe ui enhancements

And then slap on a Shop for affiliate links.

Once it's launched, I think it can be 100% automated or extremely close to it (ex: manually upgrading servers) with a hosting cost of ~$10/month.

Some questions, answer whatever you feel like:

Any of you have experience in something similar?
Is there anything besides affiliate links I can use to monetize? I don't think so, but let me know if I'm missing something.

How to maximize effectiveness?
I assume that given a huge database of porn, I should filter it down to some niches to stand out. And have affiliate links somewhat relevant to the niche.

Social media marketing? How important do you think this is? I doubt I can automate this so I'm not too interested in it. I'd rather lean on SEO first and pay someone to do social media if the site is profitable.

Am I stupid or maybe on the right track? The intriguing part to me is that it's all automated and the data source looks reliable for long term use.
I have scale in mind and I can keep hosting close to $10-15/month even if thousands of people are on my site at the same time.

I don't have any direct experience but in the past, I have analyzed the various possibilities, also finding the topic very interesting, even if some things discouraged me from continuing.

On a theoretical level, it seems like a great opportunity, you already have the contents and you just have to focus on how to propose them to attract attention: naturally, there are already many aggregators so it's not easy to do better than them.

I don't think there can be much beyond affiliate links, obviously to other porn or dating sites: the contents are not yours, I don't think you can sell any premium service.

Also discard donations because if people can have everything for free, no one will pay to support you.

Even affiliations are not such a simple topic, by managing everything automatically there is the risk of showing entire videos of those who allow you to earn, and this could make them angry and they may no longer want you as an affiliate.

I'm also worried about the problem of copyrighted material, I don't know if it is sufficient to insert a DMCA and indicate that the contents are not hosted on our server, because in any case if someone regularly publishes long videos they are aware that it is impossible for them to all be free.

This is the part that held me back the most, the risk of having legal problems, also because if you want to make money from it I don't think you can be too anonymous, I've never understood if sites like Pornkai or Noodlemagazine can be considered safe with a few small precautions.

For the rest, since the contents are not hosted on your server, the cost of managing them shouldn't be too high and this should still allow you to try, and even if you fail you won't lose too much.

Making your site known is essential at the beginning, in my opinion for this type of site perhaps the only possibility is Reddit even if there is a strong risk of being seen as a spammer: if the site is done well at a certain point the word of mouth will do everything by itself.

It is certainly useful to focus on a niche, both to find and maintain a certain type of user and to monetize it.

Are you talking about SEO and getting indexed on google

I'm getting the database from pornhub and the like so I don't think DMCA or legal issues will be a problem.

After some more brainstorming I realize I can use the dataset and filter it down to multiple niches, build the skeleton of the website once, and host multiple sites for different niches with a slight UI redesign.
So I think I'll do that

I was thinking more of starting with around 500k videos, and autoscan every 2 days for more videos to add. Do you think this would work better?

You can sell links directly to other site owners.

Personally, i'd probably build a dating blog of some sorts and monetize it with adsense. A sort of "legitimate" site that is easy to monetize. Then i'd promote that site everywhere in the porn site. A Youtube channel about dating could also work. You'd promote your channel directly in the porn site.

Basically, i'd rather use it to redirect traffic to a site that's easier to monetize than try to monetize it directly with affiliate links and such. Affiliation is not trustworthy as a whole. If you want real money you need to be associated with the real big companies that don't screw their partners.

Google will blacklist it .. simply... If you use a aggregator script you can do with that Thai is easy if you use wo script is much hard

I'm skeptical of that. If only 2 a day your bounce rate will be high, which sounds worse.

There are many sites that have good reason to start with many pages. E-commerce sites that have a page for each product, for example.
I find it hard to believe Google will penalize that.

Why not just go to one of the well established adult ad networks with thousands of sites in their inventory and a billion imp a day?
