Starting a website creation business: your opinions ?

I would like to create a website creation agency for businesses (it doesn't matter which: hairdressers, construction company, restaurant) with gohighlevel.

I know it's 2024 and every business has a website but I would still like to give it a try.

To do this I will do lead acquisition campaigns on Facebook and I will target my country France

Offer: I will offer them a free site then after 5 days I will offer them a subscription at €5 per month for their site.

What do you think of my idea?

I wouldn't go for it. unless it's something standard and they know they can't change it. Website is too subjective and standard.

I would rather offer review services at entry door. check some thread here about that, about that review strategy.

Then you can upsell anything.

That's what I also told myself, it's 2024, the last businesses not having a website had it during covid
But I have no other business that I see myself doing using my skills (knowing how to use fb ads etc) and from home

At 5 Euro a month you need at least 1000 customers to make a living after taxes, costs and so on .. It is not a viable idea, either you charge real money or you do something else.

That may work, though in my experience most people with businesses would prefer to just pay a one-time fee to design and enter content for their website.

Lead Gen Ads on Facebook. This is still works and can be sold to local businesses.

Find businesses lacking web presence and offer them insights on the benefits of having a website for expanding their business.
