How can we check competitors backlinks ?

no, you can't check competitor's all backlinks from any 3rd party tool like semrush, ahrefs, bing webmasters, or other if the competitor uses private pbn and has blocked 3rd party tools at CDN or server-level so they can't crawl the private pbn and so can't attribute external link to your competitor's site.

On my own private pbn I've blocked all 3rd party sites, bots, crawlers, IPs, ASN, or any traces there except googlebot since last 3 years and never seen those backlinks pointing to my money site within my ahrefs, semrush, moz panel (where I had paid subscription allowing me to access all my backlinks). So my competitors also can't find who is linking me. They'll get access to public backlinks only. ;)

yes that,s why i was asking if someone have any private tool etc but here everyone just mentioning simple ahrefs semrush again and agian to me :(

Anyway Thanks and please share your pbn details with me if you are selling links to your pbn.

if someone have any private tool
big media giants or companies like amazon may be using private tools or in-house designed tools like semrush, but is worth millions of dollars for developement and managing it to crawl entire internet and index pages and backlinks from it so I fear if anybody on blackhatworld has ever developed such tool to crawl entire web. It can't be done in small proportion as if you don't know from which domain a backlink is originating for your single competitor, still you'll have to crawl the entire internet for the same.

But if you know 1000 sites that link to your single competitor, then you may develop such tool in-house or get it done from a coder or keep an eye on those 1000 domains only.

Backlink Analysis Tools: Platforms like Ahrefs, Moz, SEMrush, and Majestic offer comprehensive backlink analysis tools. Enter your competitor's domain into these tools to view their backlink profile, including the number of backlinks, referring domains, anchor text, and more.

Google Search Operators: Use Google search operators like "link:" followed by the competitor's domain to see a list of websites linking to them. For example, typing "link:competitordomain.com" into the Google search bar will display a list of websites linking to your competitor.

Competitor Analysis Tools: Some tools specifically focus on competitor analysis, such as SimilarWeb and SpyFu. These tools can provide insights into your competitor's backlinks, traffic sources, and overall digital marketing strategies.

Manual Research: Explore your competitor's website and content to identify any partnerships, collaborations, or mentions they have received from other websites. Additionally, analyze their social media profiles, press releases, and guest blogging activities for further insights into their backlink sources.

Reverse Engineering: Identify your competitor's top-performing content and then search for similar topics or keywords to find websites that have linked to similar content. This approach can help you uncover potential backlink opportunities within your industry.
