There basic criteria is just Target acc should have human pfp.

So how it is done

First of all they buy legacy verified account

Then they change pfp and other details and make it similar to Target.

And then report the target for impersonation and account gets banned within minutes.

In this case Elon's twitter is way ahead. When you are verified on Twitter and you change profile picture or name, the verification is disabled until they re-evaluate the profile.

Elon's twitter also can't detect spam report requests and with some proper methods twitter accounts can be also banned . Although you are right banning Twitter accounts is hard for this guys.

that's not what they're doing but they'll telll you that. what they're actually doing is purchasing. bulk instagram accounts and using them to mass report the target account and if enough do it in a short period of time they can be banned from upwards of to permanently. for no reason.

oh they're also using software to do this at a multi socket pace, if that's something you're interested in give me a shout as well.

Instagram has this. You cannot change profile photo or name when you are verified. Your account will go through re-evaluation.

Instagram need to update the security changes just like the twitter.

This is really common I know a lot of people that got accounts banned and with no success to recover the account at all, support immediately says no thank you go away
