Hello,

I have a question that I have been struggling with for a while.

I have set up a BH campaign, I sell followers and likes for social media (cloaking is on)
After a few days I add BH keywords, then it quickly gets suspended. When I put normal keywords in it works, but I have no conversions, it just costs me money.

I use an old Google Ads account with history.
I see my competitors promoting with BH keywords and cloaking.

Is there something I'm doing wrong? Why does Google keep suspending my account?
Does anyone have an explanation for this?

Thanks

because you need to use quality proxies and quality anti-detection. for example dolphin with geosurf

The BH keywords probably triggered the suspensions.
Google ads cloaking is not all about the url cloaking. It's also how effectively you manage to add your ad title, descriptions and keywords after the ads are approved.

Any tips to manage adding descriptions and keywords?

One trick I use when I get keywords that trigger a policy is the following.

Instead of using the keywords that trigger a flag, I use broad match keywords that would lead Google to show my ad on the keywords. Then, I add negative keywords on all the other keywords that I am not interested in. It takes some time in the beginning, but after a while, there is not so much new keywords that are added, and your campaign is shown to the keywords you want, without having them on your account.

What specific keywords are you trying to use?

There should never be a real reason for anyone to cloak on google ads. Set up a smart pre-lander. Put effort into it. Set up an even smarter campaign. Lose money for a month on purpose. Then make money.

Why would you want to lose money for a month on purpose?

Man you need a 4g/5g mobile proxy with a high end security. I suggest search on google 4G or 5G mobile proxy you will get many options also you can find on the BHW marketplace. I am also a Google ads expert and I used to these problems with BH ads.

Depends on your budget I guess. I spend $6-7m per month, so to lose $30k, is not a big deal (when i know the account is “ready”, i will make the loss back in 2 days). That being said, it’s all relative. This is the way to make strong accounts. I haven’t had a suspended account in 15 years.

Of course, as you say it's all relative thus if the budget is that high then a $30k loss becomes less meaningful. Having said that, we have had accounts without suspension for 10 years on much lower budgets than yours but still high, the highest with a spend of $8.5m per annum, and found a formula to not lose any money in the process. What we have seen time and time again is the ROAS curve, starting low at around 2x, peaking up to 8x, then at we scale settling in between 3.5x and 4.5x

I suppose I should clarify “lose money”. I don’t mean that in making $0 back. When I spend $30k for example, lets say I make $25k of that back. I have never once started an account profitably off the bat that I can recall. So if you’re doing that, you must have a set of audiences, keywords, topics, etc that works at small scale. Which is great. I always avoid doing the exact same actions when making new accounts. I do different niches, different structures, bid strategies, etc. it’s impossible for google to know this account belongs to me, because it doesn’t, but it does. During this process, even though I went negative on dollars, what I truly paid for is google AI training, the customer list built up, audiences filled, etc… and most importantly my account is now trusted at google and primed to go big. At this point I would agree with your scale numbers and where they should be at.

An account built like this, and managed with the same care that was taken to build it, should never get suspended. Only if you start redirecting traffic via cloaking will you lose it. I believe I have mentioned this before, but cloaking is plain stupid. Leave that to the Russians (no offense Russians).

Anyone who has read Google’s policies front to back, knows that cloaking is not needed. Some of the shadiest buyers on Google Ads are billion dollar companies (system1, visymo, etc)… do they redirect traffic? No. But they are shadier than anyone who does, they just do it smart.

I already forgot what this thread is about so I’ll end this with a free tip for BH guys: Google will look up your name (or whoever your UBO is), company name, etc. Take the time to build yourself a real Facebook account. A real LinkedIn account. Get followers. Do that and you just increased your chances of survival exponentially.

Thanks so much for your detailed response. I hear you, and agree on pretty much everything. The reason we make it profitable from the start comes down to 3 things: 1) how we drive the right traffic, with a detailed understanding of matching search intent at granular level across any audience cohort; 2) our landing pages are 100% aligned to the ad copy and fully optimized for PPC; and 3) we have a better formula than the traditional A/B testing.

I have worked in the past with over a dozen agencies, some small and some of the world's largest and most do the same kind of work, which is suboptimal to put it politely, and want a percentage of the ad spend (completely misaligned with their clients). Instead, take someone's account and show them ROAS fast and they will become loyal to you, as you know.

On the cloaking commentary, I am really interested to get your insights. I have been successfully cloaking ads without interruption for years, again most people get the accounts banned/suspended within days/weeks because they think cloaking is the solution to all issues, rather than also understanding the importance of the environment and quality of assets. I always wondered how some of the big multibillion dollar companies in online gambling and other restricted niches are running their paid media if no cloaking, but as you say for sure there has to be a way.
