Nothing is free. Google have to pay for server costs when you watch videos on YouTube. I agree that the adverts are annoying but trust me they're far better than other platforms. People getting 1000 views a month ad 20 ads in a single page.

I do adult and the last I checked youtube loathes everything pornographic. You do you but my opinion is SCREW youtube !

Youtube is mostly politics, conspiracy theories, 3rd world produced tutorials, crappy music and moronic podcasters sharing their thoughts.

And to be blunt,
It's doing this anti-adblock garbage because it's losing money and it's becoming the preferred hangout for the 3rd world. Sad fact but as the 3rd world takes over a platform, the people with the money leave.

No offence but YouTube isn't forcing to use their services. It's the creators who choose to use YouTube because of lucrative monitization opportunity.

Only thing I despise is Google killed other YouTube competition from their search results.

When the day comes that Youtube gets good enough that they can stop adblockers.... I'll just stop watching youtube.

Honestly, there's nothing on youtube that I can't live without or work around.

I have youtube premium it's $2 in my country, not big deal, I cannot stand ads.

Just use invidious, it's an open-source youtube front end with no ads and you can even download videos on some instances etc
you can find a list of instances on api.invidious.io

I never said that youtube was forcing their services. But I'm not going to let them monetize ME.
I pay for my bandwidth and I pay for my computer equipment. So, they should pay me to watch their ads. (It'll never happen)

Also, I'm totally supportive of anyone making money. But the real facts are that 99.9% of people uploading to youtube are earning Jack Shyte... And Jack left town.

Well, I can't speak for Jack, but I do know a couple of friends who are raking in five figures monthly on YouTube.

I had a adblock on and saw youtube got pass it with Ads. I was so surprised.
