How is my new laptop for programming?

You may have some trouble in android studio, but it looks pretty good.

But I use Visual Studio. I hate Android Studio. Also I don't develop mobile.

And why? Because of lack of graphics card?

Definitely good, But I don't like Lenovo personally.

What is your favorite then? You do realize that Lenovo was IBM which is the first computer creator company in the world but transferred to the China, right?

I use laptops since 2008. But Lenovo was the most stable one, after 2 years my old laptops were crashing, but my previous Lenovo laptop which is 8 years old is still stable and live and I can sell it for a good price on the second hand seller apps.

Just purchased this laptop for developing. I will not play games with this.

I think it's too boring too powerfull. You need to strip down at least 15gb of Ram and run it on windows 95

Good but not great. You can not do much on it other than programming. Heavy graphics work is not possible. Reason is absence of dedicated graphic card

I think it is only bad for new modern games. But I don't play games anymore anyway.

Also I have never tried any video game on it yet.

Ops, it is a build in graphics card. You machine is very good enough to run any programming except AI. Most AI requires gpu to compute especial video/image.

I get you now, my friend.

Mostly C# and .NET but a little bit JS and PHP too. Still love PHP so much, man. Just write your script into the .txt file, send it to the server and then it works like a charm.

What kind of services are you going to offer here? Php are more to wordpress. I think you're more toward window application?

I am now more into web and cloud based apps with the newest technologies such as:

ASP.NET Core MVC with C#
JS and newest JS libraries

Because these are the things that companies require mostly these days. And with the cloud based apps, people can always reach your software from anywhere in the world.

Btw, why did they create such a thing like built-in graphics card like Intel iris xe graphics? Because it is cheaper, can it be the only reason? What is the difference between a Real gpu and this?

Usually build-in graphics are shared the motherboard resources which reduce its performances.
