Just purchased this laptop for developing. I will not play games with this.

well as long as you don't plan on gaming you should be fine or use blender or 3D modeling you should be fine but i recommend you to if you can LATER add more ssd coz at least for me 512 isn't a lot.

Personally got : 1TB SSD and 2TB HDD
 
Definitely good, if you need more space you can go cloud or use an external hard drive, I wish I had a computer like this one when coding could make my life easier.
 
Depends how you code and what you are coding, But for most things, it's going to be like strapping a rocket to the ass of a text editor (more than enough power).
 
Coding despite being one of the most powerful things you could do, is one of the least resource demanding things you could ever do on a machine.

Your machine is good for usual coding.
 
Coding doesn’t necessarily use a lot of resources.

VScode MIGHT but I’ve never seen much of a difference on my system while I have it open.

Now, if you’re making a game or have multiple environments open for testing or something, I’d see what you mean.
 
That things capable of blender, just not rendering, but any computer made after 1950's is capable of programming even a phone of 2011, so saying is it capable for programming is strange question.
 
Everything works very fast with my new laptop. This one is the most powerful one I have ever got in my life. Even heavy IDEs like Visual Studio is very fast with this one. And this is important for me. It gives me some joy to keep using the PC.

Thank you homie. It works very fast like a machine gun, man. I am very happy with it. My old laptop was 8 years old and now it seems like a dead grandpa to me.

Not a bad unit yes it's suitable for coding
 
You may have some trouble in android studio, but it looks pretty good.
