Hi guys, I have a problem with Facebook ads. I created an engagement ad that is not running, it has been active for 12 hours, and it's not working. Do I have to wait, or is this a Facebook bug? Please help me.

You can check your fan page to see if it is restricted or not, or check your advertising account to see if it is being held or not.

Check the ad campaign again in the ''delivery'' section to see if they report errors.
It could be because the Page is restricted or the post's ad is flagged, making it inoperable.

I have resolved the issue by creating another ad in my ad account, which is associated with my business account. thanks

New accounts will often have low spending limits and they are susceptible to irregularities. Good luck.

Next time, if your account doesnt spend any after long time active. You can check these belows factors:
1. The fan page (If it got banned/restricted from advertising or not)
2. The account got held or not (The pop-up notification).
3. The error from campaign (Delivery or others error).

There can be multiple reasons.
1. Sometime ad review takes time.
2. Maybe some restriction you have to check it by going through your ad you will see it written somewhere if it is restricted.
3. Your ad is not something facebook allow.
4. You have done some problem with ad spend budget or ad target per result budget so even if it running it will not perform and you will think its not running.

Sometime page is baned from advertising. wait some hour and create new adds.

First, please check the page, then go to the ad account settings section, select the add payment card section to determine if the account is on hold?

Targeting parameters don't have as many people or if your customer list doesn't match the number of people expected. This may be the reason behind ads not working on fb. Poor targeting is the main cause i think

Have you checked your page is published? And account is not on hold payment status?
