I have a Shopify store with every few products (19 - 22) struggling to rank them on the first page of Google and the average keywords kw is 25 - 30 according to Semrush. And I am even publishing blog posts.
Any tips ?
how to outrank high da pa e-commerce sites like Amazon?

You have not provided any information on what have you done so far to outrank them.

If you just publish products without building links and without proper on-page SEO then you will never outrank them.

On the contrary, to what people might think, Shopify stores rank above Amazon constantly if they are properly configured.

I have done the on-page SEO and built the primary links.
However, I am still confused about how to write a product description as per SEO as some of my product descriptions are too long to make it more informative than my competitor's as Semrush's on-page checker suggested but still not ranking well and outranking the competitors
Any suggestions or tips?
should I keep my product description long and build links on that
or
any other way?

You don't need to add too many words to product descriptions just for the sake of it.

My Shopify product descriptions rarely go over 200 words and the majority are shorter than that.

You are ranking the product title and that should correlate to the URL structure (pick one main keyword for the product to rank)

The rest can be inside the product description, avoid keyword stuffing, and don't add any extra info that isn't necessary just because you want longer descriptions.

At the end of the day you need quality links and free links won't cut it ...AND quite likely your competitor is using a hidden PBN too, but this doesn't mean you should go on a shopping spree for PBN links.

If the niche and the specific products you are targeting have a high KW monthly search then most Shopify sites are using PBNs because the URL structure Shopify provides can only be modified to a certain extent (I am talking about /products /collections) so they likely are hitting PBNs on their standalone products rather than their home page. You might not get it why but just try to do a little more research on it.

One thing I want to tell you is that good links cost good money so make absolutely sure that it's even worth it for you to try to outrank anything as I am more than sure that this was the first major mistake you made.

According to my knowledge, I would suggest you to create valuable, detailed content for your products and blogs, make your website fast, and try to get respected websites to link to yours to compete with big e-commerce players like Amazon.

You need to build links in order to do this

To improve Shopify store ranking Optimize product pages, create high-quality content, target long-tail keywords, build backlinks, improve site speed, and engage in social media marketing. Outranking giants like Amazon requires niche focus, user-centricity, and patience.

You need to boost your e-commerce website's search engine rankings to drive organic traffic and increase sales. You can improve your website's visibility and attract more potential customers by implementing effective strategies.

Improving Shopify SEO to increase sales and rankings involves various strategies. Here are some key steps to consider:

Identify relevant keywords related to your products using tools. Focus on both short-tail and long-tail keywords.

Optimize your site's loading speed as faster sites tend to rank higher.

Ensure your Shopify store is mobile-friendly, as Google gives preference to mobile-responsive websites.

A user-friendly site with easy navigation and a clear call-to-action can improve rankings and conversion rates.

Use clean and descriptive URLs for your product and category pages.

Promote your products on social media platforms.

Optimize meta titles and descriptions.Create and submit a sitemap to Google Search Console.Fix broken links and 404 errors.

Encourage customers to leave reviews on your products. Positive reviews can enhance trust and potentially impact search rankings.

Regularly monitor your site's performance. Track keyword rankings and make adjustments as needed.

Hi mate try the following:
Make sure that the website as such contains relevant keywords that make it easy for google to understand what niche you are in
Blog posts on long tail key words with less competition
Optimize your product pages for SEO by including the target keywords in your product titles, descriptions, and meta tags.
Work on your page speed!
Try out to include own pictures, own videos, on the product page
start with backlinks on your landing page. Make sure that the menu structure includes the most relevan product categories
Get backlinks on the most important products
Start an affiliate program to get more backlinks for free
use auto-social.-meida-posting service to spread your blog content to get more engangement

Problem often with blog post is, when they are informational intent they will have way much lower conversion rate then an product page/ post.
I often see that these high ranking amazon categories not have many backlinks sometimes zero,I wondering but they have tons of IL links. This is why categories ranking high in the serps, an individual post/ page not has much IL links.
Let's say you wrote an commercial intent blog post about Samsung Notebook 007x model best for office? Or something long tail...(not exist but it's an example) .....

So when you do it properly it will rank good in google page 1, but above you there sits the amazon samsung notebook category, why you ask......easy= does your individual product post has tons of IL links? This is topical centered authority.
Maybe you can do it with multiple subdomains from your main domain, so you have the keyword in the domain.

Or make it like the big guys with multiple separate domains complete niche down on emd domains, build on the main domain a contenthub+ categories , articles, then linking in the footer to all your multiple domain micro niche stores and (woocommerce, prestashop) or your micro store affiliate sites. But pssss, psssss..........better than an emd domain is an evocational domain name/ site name.

When I try on wordpress to build a cetagory with a page insetad of category then all the gutenberg pagination blocks not work.......but this function they have only on their wordpress.com VIP plan............I hope this rings a bell for you, they not give you this opportunity for free. Maybe pagination with the elementor will work, but use elementor only on your Home page, because when have it on all your pages this thing will slowdown your whole wordpress site performance.

The web today is so individual like you, you have the choice. I think be little bit other than the rest , not make the same ususal content structure/ site structure or links make a new twist.

Why I can not add emojis here ?
