Hi today,

wordpress becomes more and more arkwards for me, but we see in the moment there is no alternative for a good easy to use free cms there.
I tried today six different themes, none of theme showing my category description.
Tried to add hooks from pluginsforwp - no luck.
Does the wordpress team now in 2023 makes our life harder so they removed the function to showing description on category pasges in 2023 in their free cms version?

Any tips ? Should I try the generatepress theme ?
