Use a ranktracking software and do something about it if the ranking drops, if it's old content then update it.
From just changing published date to changing title, adding faq, list, table to rewriting the whole thing whatever works.
Sometime just adding more internal link works too.

I try to create Evergreen Content on my Niche Sites but if I have a blog that requires Blogs posts to update i will always check if one of my good performing Content pieces did worse for 1-2 Months and update the Content.

Is there any way to change the date of article published? I've updated my articles many times but always have the same date (2019) on them.
My traffic has dropped by 70% and I think that the old content could be a reason.

If it is WP the option has to be on the sidebar. Or you should automate it.

sure, this is what we thought based on our experience working on comparison articles. Then we made the automation in bulk and saw the immediate impact. But at the same time, we weren't sure, how important freshness is for professionals. The responses here are promising so far.

No right frequency. It depends on when the content becomes outdated. Very frequent updates of articles will never help get better rankings.

Google algo can detect various types of automation, lots of sudden changes. So you wanna be careful with that.

Actually, not always. If you're promoting Amazon affiliate products, it doesn't matter if the product no longer exists because your 24-hour cookie will still be set in any case
