Crypto Mining farm at School

I have never mined crypto before but I just thought of something and i'm wondering if this would work or not.

My school has a computer lab with like 50 computers in it. Would it be possible to mine crypto from all the computers at the school and run the profits into one crypto account? if this is something that would work, what software for mining would be a good one to use? i'm completely new and this idea just came to my head, so lmk if this is a feasible idea.

You could mine a CPU minable coin depending on the CPUs the school computers have. I can imagine I3 7th gen or later. Maybe some intel xeons for the schools lab technician, something you should also be aware of most schools hire IT professionals to oversee IT security and so forth.

Instead of going for the all cake maybe get the pcs to a mining pool will be less suspicious less rewards but with a lot of computers will be able to get a decent ammount those computers 40 or 50 computers working 8 maybe 10 hours per day will be some profit not a lot but decent, is a good start point.

Also think long term kid. Sneakily mining crypto before getting caught and ruining your education is not long term.

Build a business you are proud of. Learn skills that will last a life time.

Stop looking for the quick buck, it’s not there.

My gut feeling is this isn't sustainable in the long run. School's gonna catch on eventually, and then it's curtains for the crypto farm. Plus, with energy costs these days, is it even worth the squeeze? Maybe the miner could've put their efforts into studying instead – could've been the next Satoshi for all we know! But hey, that's just my two cents. What do you guys think? Anyone else out there have experience with creative mining setups? Let's hear your thoughts!
