I am excited to share my latest project with you all BHW members! I have created a website with the help of ChatGPT. The content you see on my website was generated by ChatGPT. It is making it an interesting experiment for getting more click with SEO optimised articles.

Yes, the text above created by ChatGPT and i edited some part of it which i have done for all my articles. I publish 1 or 2 article per day. I am using RankMath for SEO and sitemap. I have published 35 post and I have started edit from first content for internal link. But when i started edit, the impression down to 0. I don't know why it is happened. I thought it was because AI, but a lot of people doing this job even without edit content. Is it normal? I have confused about it.

What I am doing for article:
- First searching Keyword, related topics, related keywords, questions.
- Creating content.
- Editing content, I insert paragraph to link to other contents, Check AI rate (Website updated, Now it always says 100% ai, previous 80-90% human)
- Creating high quality AI images on my desktop.
- Insert images between paragraphs.
- After publish on my blog, I share to insta, face and pinterest (I have done pintopin, I thought it would be great to get viewer. now 4.85k Impressions)

- I have created Bing and yandex webmaster account.

What can i do else to grow my website?

Following your journey - I have a bit of a new small ai-generated site. It seems to have initially gotten Impressions + few Clicks, but then has dropped off too.


Speculating: It seems like initially a new site is favorable to Google, then as time goes on & they gather some metrics, it starts to care less about it. (Sandbox?)

Wondering if the next logical steps are to start link-building, or if it's time to move on from this ai site & letting it sit there.

Google said GPT content are fine as long as useful for the users. To me, it looks completely different.. I ran many tests, and all of them got the same result.

For that ai-site specifically, yea. It's on auto pilot posting ai content (no manual edits) everyday.

I thought it lost rankings due to auto posting or ai-detection. So I started an ai generate + manual read/edit each article on a separate new domain site, but that followed the same fate (initial Clicks+Impressions, then flat-line to 0 ).

It seems there is a point we didnt realize. I have wrote my own sentences and test it 6-7 ai detector. Many of them said it is ai. Also I tried that write in my native language and translate with Google Translate. All of them said 100% ai.
Have you tried something to thought would be good to make?

I am pretty sure the way forward in this area is mass automation (1000s articles / month) based on cluster keywords and further automation for internal linking. It's still early days for AI content so you have to do a lot of the legwork yourself (writing the scripts to automate internal linking for example). I think buy an aged domain as well, not a new one. Target easy longtail keywords with low competition by their 10s of thousands.

I think you are right, Btw my domain age is 1y 7m and 10y ago someone bought it. it seems it is not enough

Actually I dont do copy paste directly. I generate text and I retype sentences by myself until it pass ai detectors. Usually chatgpt give 500-600 words. I increase it with paragraph about target keyword and sub keywords. After I do inner link. Plagiarism checker says it 100% unique.

I see this a lot, initial impressions and then all of a sudden 0. A lot of people here on the forum have had this problem, and I myself have seen it happen to a few of my sites as well. (For all I know, they never recover)

In my case, I think I just did a really poor due diligence before buying a domain. What seemed like a perfect, brandable domain, was actually an expired domain with some history as an e-commerce site. Unless you buy a quality aged domain, never buy a domain with prior history as it could be blacklisted, spammed, or abused in any other way.

Anyways, AI sites are pretty much hit or miss. If you launch 5, maybe only 2 will do well. I've seen people do mass publishing, launching a new site with thousands of articles without problems. For my sites I like to take it slow in the beginning just to make sure I get past that first one or two months without dropping in impressions.

Your content is not indexed by Google, so you can remove the posts and upload them to a new domain without any problems. Just make sure you get a clean domain (check archive.org, Moz/Ahrefs/Semrush, it should return nothing) and post a few articles per day. You want to make the first 30 or so articles look really good so you can get accepted with AdSense.

Or you go with the mass publishing and post thousands of articles, on multiple domains and hope a few of them goes through the roof. I have no experience with this method though so can't really go more in depth.

I've learned that AI content is not the issue with this. It's creating AI content on a topic that you haven't shown you're an expert in. EEAT

Plenty of authority sites out there using AI content and ranking just fine. The content needs to be helpful and from an authority. But it definitely helps to use something like Originality to check the AI content and make it more human like.
