Problem with Manual DM's going straight to the "Hidden Inbox"

Alrighty, I am having quite the problem here. My business relies on sending instagram dm's out by hand to prospective clients, right now pretty much nobody actually sees them. All of our DM's are presumably ending up in the "Hidden Inbox", which is detrimental cause who actually checks that thing. What we use is an older version of Instagram++ and have about 22 accounts on there, each account sends about 15-20 dms per day. How we do that is we go on the first account, look up the hashtag, find the account, follow them, send them the DM and then move onto the next prospective client until we hit our 15-20. Once we hit the 15-20 we then move right along to the next account.

Not sure if this is important but each DM consists of 2 messages, the first one is copy and pasted while the second one is sent immediately after using one of those shortcut replies. Makes it way faster.

Our business is taking quite the hit and is on the verge of going under, so any help would be appreciated. I am about out of ideas...

When you send a cold DM on Instagram, it typically goes to the "Message Requests" section, which is rarely opened by users. Therefore, the chances of your messages being seen in this section are quite low. However, if you send messages to your followers, they are more likely to receive them in their primary inbox.

To clarify, the primary inbox is where users receive messages from accounts they follow. It is the main section where they expect to see messages and are more likely to check regularly. By focusing on sending messages to your followers, you increase the visibility and potential response rate of your DMs.

There is no way to get over this. Your message will always land in the message requests if you send to non-followers. You can only directly message to your follower that will land in their inbox. You can look for some other strategy like commenting or something else to reach out to your clients.

I know. There is a requests inbox and then a hidden inbox where messages marked as spam typically go... That's what I was referring to because its way less likely someone goes into requests and then into their hidden requests section.

They always goes to requests tab, never goes into DM directly. This is not new after the massive update.

I was wondering if there was a way to make sure your messages end up in the requests rather than the "hidden requests inbox" where messages that are marked as spam go, cause its way less likely someone goes into that than regular requests...
