hello, I just bought an expired domain. after I checked the domain was redirected 301 to the gambling website. Is it safe for my money site if I redirect 301 directly to the money site? or do I have to create a website and articles to an expired domain and then redirect to the money site after a week? what do I have to do? Thank You

301 redirects by themselves are harmless, but the fact that the domain was redirected to a gambling site it not ideal. Dig through the Archive and and backlink/anchor profile to see whether the domain wasn't abused more than that (I am fairly sure it was).
In that case it's not safe to redirect at all.

This is a checklist of what to look for regarding metrics and abuse - https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/what-is-your-checklist-for-domains-for-pbn.1342695/#post-14514468

And if you still decide to go through with the 301, here is a guide - https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/how-to-301-an-expired-domain-guide.1358904/

I have checked through the archive and anchor text. in the archives of the domain there is never any sign of a gambling website and the anchor text also has no sign of a gambling website.

redirected 301 to the gambling website
This is a red flag. Do not use it for money site.

If the domain really had no impact due to that redirect then why not test it for few months? If it shows the signs of traffic recovery then only it will be good to consider it for a money site. Otherwise there is no point investing time and money on this domain.

Spot on!
When directing to money site, you should be very cautious.

When dealing with an expired domain that has been redirected to a gambling website, it's important to approach the situation cautiously. Redirecting the domain directly to your money site may not be the best course of action due to potential risks associated with the previous content and redirection.

you should be very cautious when you dealing with an expired domain that redirected to a gambling site, it is not an ideal choice to redirect the domain directly to your money site, instead try other sites first If the domain really had no impact due to that redirect and if it shows traffic recovery and now you can consider for the money site.

Redirecting the domain directly to your money site not a best Options .

Gambling and Chinese links are red flags for the most part
Better not to use it for a money site
