Started 7 sites, 3 months old, need help on the next steps

First try to build topical clusters (write articles about a certain topic in your niche and try to fulfill the entire topic, this sends signal to Google that you're an authority in that certain topic).

Start with low competition keywords then slowly move upto medium competition keywords for your articles.

If your content is good enough, that along with the topical authority will push your content to the first page for medium and low comp keywords without any backlinks.

After that, build high quality forum links (you can build these for free if you have the time) and if budget permits buy guest posts or quality PBN links (not the cheap 1$ ones).

Also try to grow the social media accounts for your site for better EEAT. Besides the social signals helps is faster indexation.

As for web 2.0, profile, blog comments links; these kind of links are next to useless nowadays and only used for link profile diversity. Just acquire 1-2 free review copies of foundation links on this forum and you're good to go for these kind of links.
Awesome, I will start working on a cluster.

Just to be clear:

I need to find a topic and then write say 10 or 20 articles about different things that fall within that topic which cover the topic as a whole and make sure to link them to each other right?

On the forum links, would I go and look for forums that are specifically in this niche? Would reddit be helpful at all or just a waste of time?

Hey can you tell us the index number of these domains currently on Google:

site:domain1.com (it shows 100 pages e.g.)
site:domain2.com

This is important since there is a penalty regard this thing, so first need to know this.

Most of them are the same but some only have 10 or less indexed.

Even if you decide to use ChatGPT, it isn't reliable enough to post full articles that would appeal to Google unless you are very sure of what you are doing and like @Kikerinka said, getting indexed doesn't mean the big G's rate you. Do you vet the articles?

It is possible to build a site without backlinks, maybe you could get them in the future to move the needle but I believe without a very good KW research and an accompanying awesome article you just won't get there.

So, just focus on very low KWs and vet your articles yourself, I'm always marveled at people who can focus on many projects simultaneously, isn't 7 a bit too much to start the same time? Don't you think you should cut the workload down and focus on a say two and grow them to an extend before you take on other projects?
I vet some of them, I recently turned the Wordpress Auto off on my most promising website and I am writing the articles myself now on this one as suggested earlier in this thread. I will slowly work my way to the other 6 once I am happy that the first one is where it should be.

This is on my analytics for the promising site thats ranking best, however, I do not know which keyword is getting that first position yet cause there isn't enough data yet.

Precisely. Also try to interlink the clustered articles as much as possible without spamming.

Niche relevant forums are always beneficial.
But in general posting on reddit and quora alone (with multiple accounts) gives enough positive signals to Google.

Forgot to mention, build 1-2 (strictly not more than that) Wikipedia links on relevant pages (possibly inner pages which tend to be less moderated so higher chances of your link sticking). They are extremely valuable to increase the trust flow of your site.

Perfect,

And with the wikipedia links, do I need to create a wikipedia account and do a writeup myself or do I need to pay someone to do it for me? Again, im sorry, still new to this but im taking lots of notes and figuring it out as we go here with all the helpful information you guys are sharing.

Make an account yourself. Make sure to warm up the account over a week or two (doing small corrections here and there) before you insert the link.
It doesn't matter if the page you're inserting the link to is obscure as long as it's niche relevant.

Perfect thanks :) I will hope onto that

That is the question here. Don't show index pages from search console, this number is not the right one. I mean, just check it on Google, via site:domain1.com, etc, and tell me how many pages indexed now on Google for each domain.

I am afraid site:=10 result is a penalty, just check the number and give me the number list.

Domain 1: 22
Domain 2: 05
Domain 3: 11
Domain 4: 01
Domain 5: 04
Domain 6: 02
Domain 7: 08

Domain 2: 05
Domain 3: 11
Domain 4: 01
Domain 5: 04
Domain 6: 02

Alright, now I can almost sure that these sites got a weird penalty, its called 4 result penalty, check this URL:
https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/anyone-site-only-4-results-indexed-penalty-now.1318746/
Domain 1: 22
Domain 7: 08

Meanwhile, 8 is also a bad number if I remember right, 22 maybe also, I can't sure of it now, its been too long from then, I don't do these things anymore.

I am pessimistic on these domains, but don't take my words, you can keep watching them to see if anything happen in the future. If you ask why this happen, use expired domains, low quality articles can have a chance to caught on this, btw, what hosting are you using?

I see....

I am using A2 Hosting, all were brand new domains, not aged ones.

Focus on One site at a time. Make sure the articles that are getting posted are even useful at all. Check the other results on the keywords that you are targeting. What difference does your posts have from them. Make those changes. If it helps your one site then follow these steps for next all sites.

Update time:

I finally got the first site adsense approved.

I didn't remove or draft out all my previous AI generated posts, but I created a bunch of new articles with good featured images and natural writing. This didn't work.

I then added news articles in my niche from other major sites using WPAutomatic and RSS feeds. I also changed the theme to a news style site, finally got approved.

I still have all the AI content on the site but I turned off the ChatGPT campaigns in WPAutomatic so it only has the news feeds giving articles.

My next step is generate traffic. I was silly a few months back and bought a moz DA increase which has done literally nothing. I don't understand how a site can have a high moz rating but 0 DR, but I guess im not fully clued up on the blackhate side of things and how the fiverr sellers mess up the system.

I want to get some links that have real traffic and authority, but I do not have a huge budget. Any advise?

I think the issue here is that OP went for AI generated content and that is a mistake. OP, please go for handwritten content. I am sure you can make time to write quality content.

I think you forgot the basics of this method. First you need to post quality articles, earn google's trust and get some traffic. Then you need to post the generated articles. Not from the beginning.

Also, don't start multiple projects if you don't have personal experience. First try and test with 1 project and then scale.

bought a moz DA increase
That's a terrible thing you did to your site. Moz DA or Ahrefs DR means jackshit and can be inflated artificially which is what those Fiverr guys did to your site. They use spammy redirect links to boost your DA which is nowhere near similar to a healthy site with naturally obtained DR from authority backlinks. All these domain rating metrics are third-party prediction models to assign a value to a domain's authority and can be fooled easily. These are mostly used to get a rough idea about a site's authority at one glance in association with the SERPs. Google uses a very different approach for assigning domain authority.

You have the wrong foundational ideas about SEO in general. I would suggest starting out by reading some guides on this forum before you go any further with your site.

yes I realized I made a lot of mistakes at the beginning but that's why I am here to learn the correct ways. Thanks to the posts on this thread alone I have corrected several of the issues. I am also only focusing on the one site now. In future I will do it properly. Yes the BS metric crap that Fiverr people give really pissed me off but thats how you learn. I will disavow those bad links in the coming week.

Can you show an example of the article you post on your blogs? Just curious about how "good" quality they are.
