Hover over a username and select 'Start Conversation', if that is not showing, contact support so they can look into the issue for you.

It happens with me as well, I posted randomly assuming in will automatically get shifted in the listed forum, but instead I got the warning, and when i asked forum to suggest, they didn't responded.

Simply post in their business string and they can answer you by means of the informing framework - you can get them, you can't send them.

It probably hasn't kicked in the permissions change yet, I think you only crossed the threshold in the fast few hour, after more than 10 years its nice you finally reached the messages option! Hope you made and lost plenty of money in between all that time with your ideas!

2.0 Update! ​

If you want to start a conversation, you need to have at least 15 posts, otherwise you will not see the option to start a new conversation. Make sure your posts are good quality and do not make short, spammy or low-quality posts just to boost your post count - these posts will be deleted and your account may be banned.

When you reach 15 posts, you will see a yellow button appear at the top of your inbox with "Start New Conversation" - this allows you to send a message to another member.

You will also see the option to 'Start a conversation' in the pop up window when you click on another user's name.

Do not start conversations promoting your site or services or asking for things - this is against the rules and may lead to your account being banned.

After you have 15 posts, does the yellow button apper instantly? Or do you have to wait a period of time for it to apper?

I guess it will show up instantly.. But idk still on the process tho
