No, but don't write crappy comments in the auto commenter. Take a look around here for some advice on writing comments that will stick. Watch the youtube videos, re-read yukinari's best practices thread, and read a bit more on bhw about how to comment - and how NOT to comment. I've given a few examples of how not to comment. Then PM me if you want a bit more advice.

You should ask mcafee why their av detect an innocent, signed program as a virus...
Just report it as a FP to them.

It says js/wonka which indicates a Javascript type exploit which runs in webpages, and it shows a script.exe

The last i looked, ScrapeBox wasn't coded in javascript, it's not a webpage and it's not called script.exe

So with that limited info to me it appears it has nothing to do with simply "running ScrapeBox" or the ScrapeBox executable itself but rather what you are trying to load in to it.

But feel free to submit scrapebox.exe to be decompiled.

It's happening when I'm comment posting using the slow commenter. Is it the sites that it's posting to that's causing this?

Not sure if it's posted or not but I just tried to install the link extractor addon and avira popped up

proxy harvest still results in 0 for me after testing. If I uncheck use proxies the program works great. Is there a way to rollback to different versions? SB worked a lot better a month or so back.

edit-alexa addon gives the trojan warning too. Clean install of XP pro

I have added both those you mentioned and more without any problem.

Free programs like Avira and such aren't the best IMHO, but it maybe something else on your machine that may have attached itself to your scrapebox.

i just harvested only 13 sites? wtf well i did an allintitle not a single result came back with that word in title. any ideas? this is really odd!

done some scans. Avira found nothing when I scanned my computer. Malwarebytes came up clean, but when I ran combofix it comepletely erased my scrapebox folder

Ok, well after a few weeks working with SB with a big smile on my face that smile is kinda gone after the last update.

Before the last update i had a normal succes rate of 70% and from that 70% aprox 30% would stick immediatly.

Now after the last update i get a succes rate of aprox 50% and only 1% of that would stick immediatly.

Using the same technique i always use...

Is there a way to get back to the previous version in any way or is there something i missed?

After the changes to multi thread, url harvesting stopped working. I see that there are others that experience the same problem. How should we procede with this ?

Ok, just a little update here... with my last run i had a succes of 3323 and when i did my link check only 5 were there.

Now i noticed the thorough fast posting mode is missing in the last version and i always used this because when i used this my succes rate became great.

Some feedback please guys, this kinda sucks

anyone else having issues with the harvester box "allintitle" not actually pulling sites with that word in the title?

no idea what happened bc it was working before i updated.


also i was checking the PR of the links i harvested, scrape box said ABORTED BY USER. im like ummmmm i didnt abort anything.

Unable to Backup Scrapebox! Damn, i just tried to update to the latest version & now it's telling me i can't update because i have norton sonar installed.
i do have norton 360 installed, is there anything i need to disable that will let the update proceed. all my other updates worked fine up until this point.

So the new multithreaded harvester obviously rocks!

But what's the deal with the "keywords not completed" ??? Is that a proxy or connection problem or something? Or does that just mean zero results for those terms?

If it simply isn't working, I think it should try again after X retries or until it DOES get something.
