Profile (Confirmed Skype and BHW profile by PM verify): https://www.blackhatworld.com/members/the-secret.275570/
Skype: live:.cid.f92bd8772364dcf0
Skype name: Jeffrey Torring
Paypal email used for scam: [email protected]

Scam amount: 125 dollars deposit
He said he will deliver GMB verified listing service in 3-5 days. Never done the service, blocked me on Skype after inquiry. Before I sent him the deposit I told him to verify himself on BHW by PMing me his profile which is @The Secret. Moderator can verify that by checking the PM messages that I have received him from in ID-verification.

Please ban him, thanks.

The business transaction began on BHW, with my post: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/wtb-gmb-listings-or-method-in-entire-us-consultant-industry.1486362/
WTB GMB listing. And he posted on my post, and added me on Skype. And I have confirmed his BHW profile by asking him to PM me on Skype at the sametime.
I gave him 5 days. But he already blocked me on Skype 3 days ago.
I have already provided screenshot of attempting contact - Blocking me on Skype is the only way of communication with him.
I need a full refund to be considered as resolved.

He blocked me on Skype without providing the service after taking my 125 dollars deposit is the evidence.
I have added 2 more evidence in screenshot.

I had a similar encounter with this person, however I ended up not proceeding with their offer. There were multiple inconsistencies with the accused that made me pull out at the last minute. Everything here can be verified in my PM inbox from 3 days ago.

I posted a thread in the WTB section looking for Kpop related backlinks. The accused PM'd me offering a guest post on Soompi (a major Korean entertainment site) for $350. I was on the run at the time, so I requested a sample plus a paypal invoice, and would complete some due diligence once I was free. Upon returning home, I started to look into the seller and their offer.

-There were several pushy messages requesting I pay immediately in my inbox.
-The invoice was a different name to Jeffrey Torring, and came from a different email address to the one the accused requests communications for AND the one used to communicate with the accuser above. Screenshot of invoice attached.
-The sample article provided to me was clearly not the work of the accused, it was just a random article on the website. Checking socials of the author reveals they are an actual entertainment writer in Korea.
-The accused does not have an active BST for the service (not a red flag in itself - I have had successful transactions with non-BST BHW freelancers in the past, however coupled with everything else this gave me a bad feeling).
-Checking the accused's post history they were inactive for over 10 years and now are offering a variety of different, unrelated, high ticket services. Everything from Instagram verifications to high profile press releases and Wikipedia article creation and publishing.

Based on all the above (plus a bad feeling in my gut) I chose not to proceed.

LOL

Who didn't see this coming? I warned everyone about this user on March 18th in my post HERE and specifically made the post for future shitlists as such and here we are.

Nothing funny about this and really, you offered no proof, so acting on your thoughts are past what we can do to serve the community.

Sorry for your loss @harvard1932

@Tlacopan Good that you didn't proceed - That grifter will be back with another account soon.
Worth the battle I guess lol... only trusted him because he was a 2012 old account with JR VIP. I dont think he is coming back with another aged account and buying JR VIP just to get some trust on the forums... just too much work for a scammer to do honestly

Oh the naive you :D

There's an entire marketplace for BHW accounts - zero work involved.

Well, but JR VIP isnt free right? :) And he still need to buy it right?
No idea, but at that point... they might as well as just do a legit service than trying to scam as the time cost is the same

Their goal obviously isn't to scam just $125. It's always thousands, that's why he tried to sell Instagram verifications and Forbes articles - two things that are being sold occasionally or are sought after and cost top dollar.

When that didn't work out and they got desperate then they just went for whatever was available at the given moment, in this case, it was you with $125.

Sometimes they manage to get four-figure payouts, other times they are unlucky and manage to grab only a few hundred.

But they will be back with a different account. Usually, they have 1 main account here that acts as a legit account.. these are no opportunists, they are actually active members of this community and know ins and outs of how things work.

Wow, this person was living in HAF and WTB subforums. He was replying to all kinds of services, from A to Z. Telegram verification, Forbes posts, backlinks, guest posts, Instagram username takers and what not. I was wondering how can one offer so many services at once. Now it turns out this was all part of his scam. I hope there weren't many victims.

Lol.... Mods needs to add a trigger condition when a person PM/replies to more than x amount of WTB posts in 24 hours (lets say)... The mod would need to review if they are a scam actor or not :)

Bro got ultra mad and was begging, then threatening me, to take down the post as he claims to just be an innocent seller and definitely not a scammer :)
