Hi everyone,

I've recently built some private Reddit bots (account creator, karma farmer,...). Account creator bot works pretty well (80-90% live, no shadow banned).
However, when I run karma farmer bot, all of the accounts got shadow-banned (auto commenting to farm karma, 1-2hr/comment). I'm using old.reddit.com for this karma farmer bot, should I move to new Reddit (reddit.com)?

Thanks

You must try that with latest version of reddit. Using older version in all accounts, you're leaving footprints.

In my experience old reddit version can evade some blocks at times, however, the new reddit holds all the new functionality which don't work on old reddit.

Worth giving new reddit a try for the karma farm bot, but also you might want to check what kind of fingerprints the bot is leaving.

There exists more than old or new version, if you are sure about botting, accept the challenge and then understand how the system works by yourself, it is not easy now.

Thank You

Old reddit is better for the simple reason it takes far less bandwidth to perform the same amount of actions, thus, reduces your costs.
whether you use old or new to perform a certain action has no effect on ban rates/shadowbans/other limitations.

first check fingerprint of your bot.... also i have read on some blog about older version... its works fine ... give it try...

Do you warm up the accounts before getting karma from those accounts ?

Reddit can pretty easily detect what you're doing nowadays.

You have to keep the following things in mind:

Handle all accounts separately on seperate proxies and user agents, never let them come in contact with each other. NEVER log in on any of the accounts on the Reddit phone app. And depending on what you are spamming do not use the same titles or keywords in the titles make them all seem legit like different persons.

Hello sir, I am also a developer working on Reddit and have recently been working on an account generator. My gen requests are based, and do all the requirements, from checking both username and email, then registering with a valid captcha key and also confirming mail. However, my accounts get shadowbanned afterwards. Could you tell me how to avoid this if you already have a valid solution? Great thank you in advance for any tips

yeah the same here, everything works fine, captcha, different proxies, different user agents and verification gets done, but they still get shadowbanned after 1 day.

While old reddit is easier to code, they detect you way easier. Our bots are made on the new reddit and we are getting very low amount of shadowbans

do you maybe have an idea why my accs get shadowbanned and what should i add to my bot? I get a captcha, use different proxies, different user agents and verification gets done, but they still get shadowbanned after 1 day.

Most users use the new version, so you will probably be safer using that as well.
