AlexHost is not fully DMCA ignored

I've been using AlexHost for 3 months now. It's been good until today when they suspended my VPS because of a DMCA complaint.
They're supposed to be DMCA ignored as written here : https://alexhost.com/dmca/

They shutdown my VPS without any warnings after a basic DMCA complaint apparently coming from Europe.

Here is the support conversation :

As they say, they'll ignore all DMCA coming from the US but none coming from Europe (which basically means they're not DMCA ignored).

I asked for a refund as it's not written anywhere that they don't ignore all DMCA complaints. Still no answer about that.

If you're hosting a porn site, you'll receive DMCA notices even if you pay attention to the content hosted on your site. AlexHost will shutdown your VPS as soon as a DMCA notice comes from Europe.
Their publicity over dmca ignored is misinformation. Pay attention to that If you want to buy a VPS to this hosting provider.

They're clowns, had a vps with them for 5 days and it didn't work for 4 days (Dedicated Server), they seem to also not ignore european dmca complaints, as they're based in europe, only true dmca ignoring hosting that i found is shinjiru though it's expensive.

maybe they don't 100% ignore a DMCA. All Though we have ton of clients who running a IPTV Streaming Offshore Dedicated Servers and so far no any problem they faced till date.

You are wrong, just because cloudflare forwarded a report to us doesn't mean that is US, cloudflare is in US but anyone can send a report in Europe to cloudflare even Europol and Interpol and other organizations.
The way you think is wrong, anyone in any country can report abuse to cloudflare and they forward to us that is how it works.

Alexhost can tell you if you got suspended, is not because of DMCA but something more bigger than DMCA

Note that Alexhost obeys to Moldova laws and needs to follow them.

It was somethink illegal on Your website or somethink that a country Complain about....

Did you have a 18 warning on front page and other legal info to protect your website arse.

Adult website needs to comply with all adult laws dmca is not protection from adult laws.

Looks like they saved your arse from a legal battle

Ofsure or dmca dont mean your protected, you just think in the mind you are but really any public info is scrutinised

I think you got of very lightly be careful there always reasons server owners kick ppl off there system massive warning, red flag

You should think very hard which kind of porn you hosted on AlexHost, it must have been something really illegal, by what you posted it does not seem to be DMCA complaint.

Comments on my screenshot are also random. This was not "stolen or private" or I don't know what else.
Besides the fact that there are indeed videos downloaded from other sites, apart from copyright I have nothing wrong hosted on my site.

You posted a review without providing a ticket id, who is supposed to us know who are you?
As we told, Alexhost doesn't suspend something without a valid reason. Provide ticket id.

Anyway, my app is hosted elsewhere, but still I'm curious what lead to my VPS being suspended without any warnings as I'm just hosting normal porn (videos come from other sites so only issues should be copyright/dmca).

And thanks for everyone who commented here like @flprocess @redarrow.

I received the information that you got suspended because of CP, do you know that is pretty illegal? We can't tell you what happen exactly.
But I can tell you that you got suspended for that reason, Alexhost doesn't allow any CP content in our servers. No CP.

We received a valid report to shutdown your server due to CP, we need to obey and that's pretty high illegal things. Alexhost doesn't review in such actions that is why we disabled your website.
You need to find other home, we don't allow such things. Even if you told us that isn't your fault, Alexhost fully respects the law, the client should be the responsible for the server management and security account.
Even if your website is used to share files you need to control that things, Alexhost can't ignore the report that we received.

DMCA or Offshore Hosting is not to be used for CP, Fraud, Phishing, Scam like we saw in some cases.
