Instagram has launched a new "Silence" feature aimed at improving the focus of users. After enabling the feature, notifications will be disabled, your profile activity status will be changed to "In Silent Mode", and those who write to you at this moment will automatically receive a response in private messages.
The new feature will be available to everyone in the US, UK, Ireland, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, with other countries coming soon.
What do you think about this? Will you use this feature or is it easier to set the "Do Not Disturb" mode on your phone?
“Teens have told us that sometimes they want to take a break from social media and are looking for more ways to focus in the evening, during homework, and at school. You can easily set Silent Mode to fit your schedule, and once the feature is turned off, we'll show you a quick overview of notifications so you can keep track of what you've missed."
