Is this Google spam update?

I registered and built the domain 3rd January,
Brand new domain.
No backlinks.
I wrote low KD content, after some days I started Getting impression but I barely get clicks, even thou I'm ranking first page
Here's the first week stat of the blog



I kept writing content and my impression keeps pushing but no clicks,
I kept writing but I found out that all the recent articles I wrote are no where to be found on Google search engine, (not ranking) even thou they're all indexed.
So I paused for a bit.
after some days, my impression dropped to nothing, I kept wondering why,
Current blog stat.


Could this be Google update?
I'm about abandoning the domain and get an expired domain with backlinks and DA, my aim is to rank higher and faster.
Suggestions please..

Google was essentially testing your site. Keep publishing content. Perhaps it's time you start looking into backlinks gradually.

I have a new site that experienced that. After a while it started picking impressions again. But still slow.

Your site is still very new, so it's expected that it bounces around for a while.

Yes, they typically work best when they work. They are also known to fail spectacularly. This unpredictable nature of expired domains is the reason I don't use them at all.

But if you can get one that was never dropped and deindexed due to no activity, and has been online. Your chances of success would be high.


By the way, SEO and 'fast result' are typically not meant to be in the same sentence especially when you're talking about a new website.

But following the right steps, would put you ahead of everyone else.

You need to start working on the authority of your website.

I had the same even with an expired domain.
As @HenryObi correctly said, google was testing your site.
Unfortunately, there's no such thing as "quick results" nowadays... well, unless you do paa sites on steroids.

You can’t expect fast results in SEO, especially without any backlinks and a fresh domain.

This is normal for a brand new domain.
Yes, an expired domain is great if you want to hit the ground running, but you need to factor in the charge of the expired domain, and if you can part with the cash right away.
Also, depending on the niche that you're in, an expired domain is not always necessary.

Several of my sites are on fresh domains. The most profitable of them is outranking several larger sites (including Expert Reviews). For it to get to that stage, it was just over 18 months. In contrast, to have an expired domain in the niche I wanted which was also "clean" was going to have set me back high 3 figures. I opted for a fresh domain that I was able to brand, and invest that money in links and spend the time building a quality site that I knew wouldn't crash and burn thanks to what may have happened to it before.


In terms of you building backlinks already, to me that wouldn't look natural. Why would established sites link back to a brand new site with a low amount of content on it?

What are you expecting from a brand new website, to rank on a 1st position in few days?

Ranking takes months my friend, and only if you have built a HQ website and worked on your offpage & offpage SEO.

I think you're looking at things from a wrong perspective, know that there's little chance of overnight success in SEO. Nevertheless, I wish you success.

How would you know that a domain never got deindexed?

My point is, as at the time of purchase it is still indexed. It's not about the long gone past of probably several years ago.
