I backlinked my blog on a site which I got here on bhw, and got like 10-15 links only on various pages for 2-3 days, and also promoted on YA and My blog is 6 months old and has Pr 1 and Now when I check google it has 1700 backlinks from various sites and majorly from YA,Now the problem is this week my site stopped getting hits from google and kind of dropped in google, its listed for no keywords but is indexed so not banned,I used to get 50 visits and then 5-7 every day and from today none,This is happening starting this week, before this it was listed for many keyword on 1st page.
it may or may not be because of this, don't know, can anyone help me how to get my site back on google top, like get more visit again as I used to and get listed for keywords please help.
Thank you.

Dont be alarmed, it is just the dance.

Sometimes you are in one of the many servers, sometimes you are not, so your rankings are not in sync and will appear to be dropping, sudden rise, stagnant for months.

Wait till the entire servers got you indexed and ranked and you will see your true rankings. Usually take 6- 12 months at times, but at times it can take days.

6-12 months,woh :( , I hope it is google dance,but how can I be sure?Any way to check,can anyone help me?

Can anyone tell me how to get back on or what do do,please help.

time and backlinks - that's pretty much all you can do. If you've not been deindexed then you'll likely be back at some point. Just keep buliding backlinks and focus on another project for a while.

i thought this happened due to too many backlinks like 1700 or so in 6 month, isn't it?how does this work, when will the google dance stop?anything i can do to get back for keywords,my blog is still index but have to work hard for new pages to get indexed, can anyone help me,thank you.

Yeah I think you have too many backlinks. Try to build backlink more slowly but stable. And don't do much link exchange

one of my pr1 site ~4m old dropped from #1 to #700... i dont think it is a dance, the site has been sandboxed. In last 2 weeks the site gained 500 backlinks, i think this was the reason.

Funcky situation but not uncommon at all. IF you are in a void with your rank due to this, go into a free search engine submitter and resubmit your site.

Common practice is to resubmit once every year but the fact of the matter is that when you do that, you tend to get pushed out and that is one of the many reasons your site will tank/be off on stable ranking data results.

Just resubmit your site to the engines and repeat the routine process every 3-4 months. Any more frequent and they will bust you on it for over submitting.

However, with as many links as you are claiming to be putting on, you will need to update your site within their fresh ranks of sites to be processed. Resubmission will put you in a que to move up for new site updating. This has google bots and the rest of the spiders update your site in their system with all of your latest data.

If you don't resubmit, which google won't tell you to do, then your site will lose rank and get rotated out as newer sites come in. It still recognizes you but it has moved you into the older collective.

Most people make the mistake of thinking this doesn't matter, as you are already in the system but google will tell you in their information to submit once a year , or " whenever you update, change or modify your site dramatically "...

That doesn't mean abuse it with updates on every time you link build, just every quarter or so and it will routinely keep you in the system for a major new site update scan. This will take in what you've made different from the last time they scanned you, up to the current data on file that isn't reading correctly and update you, hense boosting your rank and data results in their system.

You have to outthink these guys with simple routine practices that they allow within the means of their own system. We all play their game, just make it by your rules.

This will help, resubmit. It will bounce back.

but people say its just temp and you will get back in few days
what if i get de indexed for submitting again?

if you had no backlinks and all of the sudden got 1500 links... you will most likely get sandboxed. You have to make it look organic, get few a day for a month or two.

btw, PLEASE use your SPACE BAR! :D

i had 6-700 links and then i got 1200 now,i add like 100 a week,but its 6-7 month old site,then why,also pr1,is there a way to get out of google dance,please help
Will getting high pr and angela's packets help?

is there someone who can get me out of google dance, please!

Unfortunately nothing and no one can get you out of the sand box, this is one of the times that time is all that matters.

But i am not sand boxed,i am indexed just not for keywords as before.

As already mentioned the only solution to your current problem is the passage of time, when events like this happen all you can do is wait for it to come back right.
