How do you find bestselling items? Any methods?

I don't do that, idk but have seen some videos on youtube of people trying to "take inspiration" from the first products you see (that usually are the best selling as the algorithms show in the first positions the best sellers).
On Amazon you can use AMZ Suggestion Expander for doing niche/keyword research as it suggests more possible keywords when you search on the Amazon Search Bar, I also used DS Amazon Quick View that shows the score/rank/I don't know how it is called of a shop, I'm sorry but I used those only once and then switched to Etsy and started using Erank so I don't remember a lot about those, it's way better if you search something on Youtube.

Don't know much more, I upload AI art in my designs so I don't have a lot of info about the approach of modifying those best sellers.
By the way don't copy designs if you don't plan to mass automate stuff and open a lot of shops and also always search if you can use some films or popular culture references, for example on Redbubble there is the section with the list of allowed films for fanarts, the other that are not listed there might bring a ban.

You should try ranking up your products ( using keywords, probably hire someone to do the SEO for you)

No not yet, It's my first week in Etsy, and still not running ads or working on SEO for the moment.

As I noticed, most of the shops ( if not all) don't get sales in the first month on Etsy, all you need is someone to buy/visit/ add in cart.... ( get traffic) to start getting relevant.

If someone can capitalize on this he can make some $$$ ( by providing a traffic boost to shops)
