I just installed the new update and I'm getting this error:

"Unable to update ScrapeBox! The scrapebox process was not terminated within the specific period of time."

Any ideas what's going on? How do I revert back to the older version?

That used to happen to me every time I updated it, however, when I then loaded it up again it had actually upgraded.

I think it's just a bug but it does actually upgrade it, still.

How can I post only 100 comments rather than the whole list of url's?

I have not seen this option, is it possible or am I missing something?

ScrapeBox will post to whatever url's you have set up. If you only want to have 100 comments then you need to trim your list of url's down to 100. Run the PR checker through and take the highest PR ones if you want.

If you get error like that:
"Unable to update ScrapeBox! The scrapebox process was not terminated within the specific period of time."

Go to your Scrapebox folder. There you will see ScrapeBox.zip file. Just extract it in the same folder, and it will replace older ScrapeBox.exe. Thats it

Feature Request:

This feature request is for link checker.

It helps a lot but SB can be now used for multiple purpose. It would be great if following options are integrated.

- PR Check for where the url has been Found. [This should be optional. I know we can do it by exporting and importing again. But whats wrong in saving some time].
- Nofollow link checker. I would like to know if the links are no follow or not and can be pretty helpful when checking links built by other softwares.
- Probably the IP address of where the link is found.

Hi Sweetfunny I have a feature request too which might make a huge difference to moderators accepting comments:

When SB goes to make a comment could it grab some of the original post text - put it in inverted commas and then post something like a variation of "hear, hear" or "I agree with this" etc... ?

That way the comment is reflecting back the writers words (they always like that!) and so the comment is bang on topic PLUS each comment would be pretty unique given the random select of the original posters text...

It displays N/A when the page is not indexed for PR. A lot of pages are not eligible for PR for many reasons.

1000 captchas with decaptcher is $2 but they have to have a minimum payment of $10 to an account

This is explained in the user guide videos that are on the download page when you buy the software. It was one of the first things I tried. You need to use the ping mode.

Watch the videos they explain a lot of the features very well

So you all need to know that SF is really working hard. You want to know how hard? 30 hours nonstop yesterday. Because Tons of Supportmails. And this is the situation not only since the last days... 30 hours? That cant be good for health...

SF says the support is eating all of the time. Little time left for coding.

I wrote SF some ideas I had how to solve this issue, because it cant be that SF works all the time only for support dont you think?

Im not experienced in such things and dont know whats the best way to handle this situation and SF cant even think about such things at the moment because the overwhelming amount of work. So is someone here that knows whats the best way to handle this?

The number of SB-Users wont shrink... so the supportrequests wont...
I mean, when the situation isnt changing what do you think will happen?

For example if I want to use a custome footprint like inurl:"long tail keyword"

Is there any way to use something like inurl:"%keyword%" and Scrapebox will replace the spaceholder %keyword% with the keywords?

Does anyone have an idea?

A 302 error is one of two problems;

1. The search string you've entered is using invalid characters. Is your search string weird or is normal?

2. You also get a 302 error when your IP has been temp blocked by Google. You know the, "You've been sending automated queries" page.

It's most likely the second.

i am having serious speed and proxy issues. when testing proxies, 9 times out of 10 they all come back 404 error, including my purchased proxies from proxybonanza. it has also taken SB 36 hours to pull page rank on about 72,000 WP blogs using 10 free proxie then 10 paid proxies below those.

I am posting right now to about 7,000 moveable type blogs using all paid proxies and after about a half hour it has only tried about 30, all failed, seems to be stuck.

Ever since v 1.12.5 it has seemed to get bogged down and burn through proxy bandwith at an unaffordable pace. At this point i would say its not really functioning as an an efficient tool you click and leave at all.

you just ping the url of the article using the ping function. i have heard you need to be careful with this so maybe just fire off 50 pings a day delayed.
