Does google search engine consider DA to rank a website ?

DA/DR is a measurement made up by Moz.
That being said, DA is influenced by the number (& quality) of links pointing to your site (backlinks) which definitely does influence ranking

I had a website that had a lower DA and was getting, let's say 300 clicks per day. After I started getting more links, the DA increased by 10+. But because the links were so bad, my traffic went from 300 clicks per day to 0. DA doesn't mean much if you don't have quality content and good links. It's just a made up figure.

no, but most of the time few years ago a higher DA corresponded with a higher ranking. with the amount of weight big G is giving to the content, a higher DA is having a less correlation with a higher ranking.

It can be easily manipulated so wouldn't base too much off it

It'll help, but its the least important factor unless you're working on a very difficult keyword. It's more of a barrier to entry for very high kd keywords. Authority in general matters but you want to reference the average between moz, ahrefs, and semrush metric. The metric itself is mostly a guide and you still need the proper quality backlinks and on page structure to support it. Authority is a part of EEAT so in short, yes it helps in general but not specifically in ranking where quality backlinks and on-page structure are more important.

No it isnt a ranking metric but only an assessment metric by MOZ.

Domain authority helps calculate ranking potential of your site.
Its better to strive for High DA than Low DA only to build trust on your site
You can still rank better with fresh quality content providing value to customers/ readers.

No, it won't help in increasing the rankings. Instead you can focus on finding a good keywords, adding high quality articles, on page stuffs, high quality backlinks, etc. for your higher rankings.

Both good and bad type of links can get you a higher DA,
While the quality ones will get ranking, the spammy ones even with high DA can get your website even tanked,

Focus in building the right links and you'll get such metrics pumped up (unless you're hiding a PBN),
If you aim only to increase the DA, you'll only get a higher one without any SEO results included

DA is a moz metric that measures the authority and value of a site.
Targeting the right keyword, writing good content and building quality backlinks will help in improving the ranking.

Exactly, and that's why I don't care about the DA. Almost all the tools that show you the DA calculate it differently and give you different data. It's worth almost nothing.

As a beginner, you just think, "Wow, this site has such a high DA, I can never keep up with it," and that's it.

DA is just for your own assessment and estimation of a quality of your website. However it can be easily faked and has no direct impact on your rankings. It is not considered by Google as it is a third party metric. So do not worry much about it.

Considering only DA is no good, the links you getting has to be relevant and articles to be unique plays major role. Considering DA/DR high while buying links is one of the factor that the domain is worth buying.

There is no relationship between ranking and DA

Rankings can be improved by creating quality content, right keyword, and creating quality backlinks. DA will not helps to rank higher.
