The answer is Yes and No! Let me explain.

When something seems simple, do you find it motivating or fulfilling? Probably not. Humans love challenges, and challenges provide space for growth.

I have a second question.

How do you feel when you fix some minor problems around your house? Can you think of an example, like the kitchen sink? It feels great. Because you derive pleasure from seeing the creative work of your hand. (The inner joy is unexplainable). Undoubtedly, your wife will appreciate it and give you that pretty smile. Imagine everyone in your household is handy and capable of repairing such a problem. Would anyone appreciate it?

I'll let you answer that.

Performing such a task becomes the norm or "the bare minimum" because everybody can do it. So why will you be praised?

So Now Ask Yourself These Questions:

  • If everyone can do it, why will Google or your readers reward you?
  • What's the point of visiting your blog if they can get the same results from chatGPT?
  • Will everyone get the same answer if they use the exact prompt or query?
  • Do two or more people writing about the same subject not get the same results?
  • What happens if Google finds you've got the same content on two or more blogs?
  • What makes people search for "Top 5 XXX" on Google?

If your content is the same as others across the web. What will happen to your SERP? Will suffer, no doubt. Your readers won't appreciate your effort if they can get it from some bot. Very soon everyone will have the same content as you. Whether you spin it with Quilbot or related software, it will get to that stage Google will detect all fake, which is happening at the moment.

Despite having a tiny brain, I can detect AI-generated or spun content. What makes you think Google can't do the same with their powerful tools? If you've been following me, I've called out several AI-generated posts on this forum.

Have you ever searched for a news article on Google and found that every blog wrote the same thing? You look for different perspectives on the news, but nothing fits since almost all posts are similar.

How do you feel at that point? Frustrating, right? Lol.

Imagine being in your readers' shoes; would they be happy when they experienced the same thing? As a blogger or internet marketer, you want to ensure your new visitors become regulars. ...or turn your prospect into a paying customer. You can only achieve that if you're authentic and different from others. Reread it!

Give these 2 questions some thought.

  • What influences your buying decisions?
  • Why do you always check reviews when you're looking to buy software or services?
  • Your answers to those questions are what your readers naturally do. It's subtle.

Visitors have given you the right to tell them what to do. They want to hear what you think and your experience. And even the data you collected while researching (using) the product or service.

As long as ChatGPT doesn't offer these, people will keep looking for "TOP 5 XXX." and other related keywords, since they want human opinions and experiences. This serves as social proof or corroborating evidence. Based on Robert Cialdini's and Jonah Berger's research.

According to Drew Whiteman. His theory was that people buy stuff for the sense of belonging they get from it. Not because of the merits or quality of the product. And people influence our buying decision.
This is why people keep searching for keywords like;

TOP 5 XXX, BEST XXX NEAR ME, ALTERNATIVE OF XXX PRODUCT, BITION ANALYSIS TODAY, and much more.
WHY?

Because people want a human opinion, not ChatGPT owns.

The big fish of internet marketing, Neil Patel for example. Recommend a product to his audience. The reason so many rely on him to make or influence their decisions is that his writing is based on actual research and experience. This creates an emotional connection between them. Along with Brain Dean, countless other talented bloggers are doing the same.

Here's a simple task for you. Search for "TOP 5 PHONE FOR GAMING" on ChatGPT.

chatgpt 1.png

You can see that it's only a list of phones and some standard features and benefits. It's not enough for me to buy any of them. Keep in mind, readers want your opinion and experience with those phones.

Now ask, "Why should I buy this your recommendation", and "Have you used this phones before?"

chatgpt9.png

Do you see it in the response? After mentioning the phone's features twice, the bot claims to be artificial intelligence with no personal experience. Will you, as a customer, buy one of these phones with so little information? The customer wants your advice on which phone is better out of five Based on your experience. All these can be achieved from a human (you) standpoint because you know their pain point.

What Can I Use ChatGPT For When Writing?

  • Inspiration.
  • Ideas for content research.
  • It's helpful for blog outlines.
  • Get a definition of seed keywords.
  • Any vocabulary meaning (for example, I asked for synonyms for "Too many").

Currently, I use ChatGPT for these purposes. It's not 100%, especially when writing a blog outline. My favourite way to organize my thoughts is to write outlines or mind maps on a notepad. Then I look for more ideas on ChatGPT and Google, or, in most cases, I read books.

Also, writing about topics I know makes research and writing much more effortless. Doing the same will allow you to stand out from the crowd.

How Can I Write Good Content That Is SEO Friendly and Engaging for Readers?

  • Avoid the passive voice
  • Use contraction words
  • Read Your Content Aloud.
  • Proofreading Your Content.
  • No fluff or padding of words.
  • Use metaphors to explain an idea
  • Use the Active Voice (Subject-Verb-Object)
  • Make Your Content as Concise as Possible.
  • Use stories, personal experiences, and data.
  • Write Short sentence(5-15 words per sentence)
  • For clarity, use apps like Hemingway or Readability.
  • Try Grammarly to check your grammar errors.
  • Use a lot of white space to make your article easy to read.
  • Write About Topics With A Good Amount Of Knowledge.

There are many other factors to consider when writing high-quality content. I missed some of them, but you can help me add more in the comment. The difference between academic writing and content/copywriting is vast. Some reason is that they violate all the rules of academic writing. A lot of grammar and vocabulary are needed for academic writing. I bet you need dictionaries to understand the various words.

These are some ingredients you need to cook a high-quality article. There are some of these elements in this post if you look carefully. For example, using metaphors to clarify ideas. In addition, I used fewer words per sentence, and I talked about my own experiences. You'll be able to connect emotionally with your readers.

DO YOU NEED BACKLINKS TO RANK OR GET VISITORS FROM GOOGLE?

You don't have to buy backlinks to rank on Google. Consider writing a long-form post with real value for your readers. (1500-2500 is excellent). In some cases, the post ranking for specific longtail keywords provides less value to the topic. Why don't you create long, informative content with substantial value for such a keyword?

You should write content you understand and enjoy, as I told you earlier. You'll be able to do your research and writing much more quickly. By doing so, pick the most relevant stuff out of your research, and you'll be able to provide valuable content.

Your readers will love it, and other bloggers will start linking to it. Do you know what will happen next? You guessed right! Your content will start ranking on Google. Don't get me wrong I know it's not easy to rank on Google. But it is more important to focus on producing high-quality content that your reader will love and return for more. Rather than producing low-quality content and adding useless backlinks that will not help you. Why not focus on writing meaningful content?

Social media is there. Leverage it! Twitter is a reliable traffic source if you can tweet many times daily and engage with other creators in your niche. Consider Twitter's big players like Elon Musk, Alex Hormozi, and others. They tweet up to 5 times a day. You don't have to set up your tripod or ring light to shoot a video or take a photo. Tweet 150 characters; that's it!

Can ChatGPT replace SOME content/copywriters?

The short answer is a resounding YES!

Mediocre writers like this commenter.

You should be fine if your reader gains value from your content.

Let me ask you a simple question.

Have you tried unseasoned grilled chicken or even general food before?

Ok!

That's what ChatGPT content tests like to your readers.

Think of it as your writing buddy or assistant, since the content will be so blank that you can't just rely on it.

When you write content, you want it to resonate with readers. Trust me they will read every word as if their life depends on it.

Those writers who consistently write good content will always be here. Google is already removing monetization from blogs with AI-generated content.

"I Can't Write Good Content & I'm Not A Native Writer, What Will I DO?"

You don't have to be a native English speaker to be a good writer. There's so much content on the internet you can take a cheap online course or use Youtube for free. You have to practice writing consistently.

Avoid writers who promise thousands of words for a few cents or X dollars. Especially the one who claims to be a native English speaker. It's common to see them generate/spin content on expired domain blogs or free ebooks with cheap AI tools.

It took me over seven hours to write this 1600-word post, excluding editing and proofreading. Will anyone write such an amount of words for pennies?

Writers charge anywhere from $100-$500 for comprehensive content. You'll need writing skills or a skilled writer to run an excellent blogging business.

You won't regret any of these choices.

When it comes to ChatGPT (and open Ai) it’s all about the prompts. Here’s what I was now to come up with with about 5 secs of tweaking a prompt (for your example of best phone for gaming).

I prompted it for 5 but it only gave the top one before stopping. Far from a generic reply (although certainly not as good as what someone who actually tested the item and used it for a couple of weeks could write).

(Everything below is written by ChatGPT with no changes made)

Today, I'm covering the topic of the best 5 cellphones for gaming. There are so many options out there, it can be tough to decide which one is right for you. But fear not, because I've done the legwork and narrowed it down to the top 5.

First up, we have the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. This beast of a phone has a 6.8 inch AMOLED display, making it perfect for immersing yourself in your favorite games. It also has a whopping 16GB of RAM, ensuring that you'll never experience any lag or stuttering while playing.

But the real reason I love the Galaxy S21 Ultra for gaming is because of its super-smooth 120Hz refresh rate. I can't even begin to describe how much of a difference this makes when playing fast-paced games. It's like the phone is reading my mind and predicting my every move.

Now, I know what you might be thinking. "Matt, that's all well and good, but what about the cost? Won't my wallet be hurting after buying this beast of a phone?"

Well, my friend, I'm happy to report that the Galaxy S21 Ultra won't break the bank. Sure, it's not the cheapest option out there, but when it comes to gaming, you get what you pay for. Trust me, the investment will be worth it in the long run.

So there you have it, my top pick for the best cellphone for gaming. The Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra is a beast of a phone that won't break the bank and will provide an unparalleled gaming experience. Happy gaming!

I only see it as a tool. I have been using it to get an idea for copywriting sales descriptions.

I'm impressed with the output, Matt. There's no doubt it's readable and personalized, but here's the problem;
It doesn't appear you sent the full results. The heading says 5 phones for gaming. Hopefully I can give you a lot of feedback if you send the full thing out.

As you may recall from reading my article, I asked whether the content that you generated would not end up in the hands of another blogger. Millions of people use it and, when you prompt it in the same way, the results are the same.

While the article tried to be creative, it lacked most human emotional triggers like storytelling, asking questions, and metaphors, although it tried to be passionate.
Will you buy based on this review?

Pay attention to the most successful bloggers; they write based on their experiences, data and tone to create a commonground. This content lacks it.

I only see it as a tool. I have been using it to get an idea for copywriting sales descriptions.
Exactly.

Think of it as a writing buddy, not a complete writer. Take note of matt's output from ChatGPT.

The content needs a human touch to convince people to buy those phones.

Thanks for taking the time to perfect this article for all of us, appreciate it!

And I also agree talented people will still have a shot when compared to machines :)

Don't know why this isn't blowing up since AI is the talk of BHW these days.

Hopefully more people will check it out soon! ;)

It's common for people to shy away from the truth, which is normal.

I'm not trying to discourage anyone from using it, I suggestion they should use it for inspiration, not actual writing, or at least edit your words so they look more natural.

People are even using it to write comment...lol

Mediocre writers like this commenter.

An excellent post! I appreciate you building a solid and cohesive argument based on your experience. I could relate and empathize with how you create your content -- something that an AI program would only be able to simulate.

Personally, I am quite disturbed by the idea that most of the content will be created by AI. However, while reading your post, I got an alternative view: If most of the content out there is mediocre in any case, then replacing it with AI-generated content won't really make any difference! The mediocre content creators/copywriters will go out of business, while the outstanding content creators that produce novel and valuable ideas will still thrive, even more so with AI's assistance.

Looking more into the future, I think that AI will surely approach closer and closer to the level of outstanding content creators. AI-generated content will become a universal tool for social engineering, pulling on the strings of human emotion beyond our comprehension, invisibly pushing societies toward certain outcomes. Max Tegmark described such a scenario in the introductory chapter of his book, Life 3.0.

View attachment 237969

You can see that it's only a list of phones and some standard features and benefits. It's not enough for me to buy any of them. Keep in mind, readers want your opinion and experience with those phones.

Now ask, "Why should I buy this your recommendation", and "Have you used this phones before?"

View attachment 237970
