Increase DR and UR in Ahref but Still Loosing Traffic and Keyword

My manager just bought a Backlink packages that increase my site backlink from 6K to 18K on Ahref in a month.

However, i haven't seen any improvement in KW rank and traffic. Organic kw has also been decreasing since then and we also lost a few KW in top 10-20.

I check the new Backlinks and most of them are this type of link

I checked the site on Semrush and their AS is around 30, Ahref DR is also quite similar.
Now I just don't know if those links are really improving my site SEO.

Have anyone here try to improve their site with backlink package? Just let me know what do you guys think about this

Backlinks packages are good , as the links get indexed then the perform well
 
All these links are spam. Increasing the DR & UR doesn't help in improving the rankings. Sending 12k links in a month is really not good. You can focus on building high quality links like guest posts, niche edits, relevant pbns.

ignore those 3rd party tools. couple of things: shitty backlinks will not hurt you as few years ago. your issue is most likely around link velocity. some argue that it does not exist and some say it does. basically, if you suddenly get shit load of backlinks, you could trigger something in google algo that flags you for doing seo. you probably got flagged for that.

one question: during this time, how many times did you go to google search console and requested your pages to get indexed? again, if you do this too many times, you are flagged for doing seo.

another thing. take a look at this. you might have been impacted by this update:

I think I've it only one or twice. I checked Search console and there isn't any flagged notification.

Don't know if this buying spam link strategy still works today. Normally I would also go for guest post and buying backlink from high quality and relevant domains.
 
Those links are not strong enough to push your keywords. Ignore those links and start building fresh, relevant backlinks from quality websites.
 
These redirect backlinks are pure spam and scam.
It can fool 3rd party SEO tools for metric.
As about rankings - it can only drop it.

I remember someone selling it as a BST here. He promised to increase your site's DA to 70-80 for $600. I knew it was using redirect backlinks as I also saw it on Fiverr and Seoclerks.

I wonder how much he made blasting redirect backlinks to his customers' sites that did nothing to increase their traffic and rankings.
 
1. Regardless of what everybody is saying, I think link velocity is a myth.
Let's say Rihanna launched a new business and it was mentioned on tens of thousands of sites, do you think that new domain would get penalized?

2. That being said, the quality of your links matters.
And the ones you bought were trash. I'd disavow as many as you could and avoid doing that again.

1. Well that's Rihanna, getting tons of natural backlinks and social coverage that would cost you 6 figures if you wanted to pay for it. Pretty sure Google can understand what is going on.

As compared to a regular kid with $50 budget who has no idea what he is doing, badly written content, thin site, suddenly blasted with tens of thousands of shit backlinks. Google could recognize this crap 10 years ago tbh.

2. Correct. I bought maybe 15 links for each of my money sites this year. That was more than enough to jump in rank, maintain it and avoid every update this year. OP, remember the golden rule of life - "You get what you pay for".

I never said it didn't, I'm saying it has nothing to do with velocity and everything to do w/ a high ratio of bad links to good links.
