1) I see it has rules set up for moderation but is there anything else we'd need to do in terms of maintenance? I've seen some subreddits get banned for being 'unmoderated'
2) have you done any broad groups instead of niche? and if so how is the growth on that?

1. The subreddits will come with automoderator setup, to do basic moderation. But the moderator accounts needs to be logged in regularly and check on the subreddit status, else it will be banned.
2. Broad subjects are fine, since those grow faster. Depending on NSFW/SFW it highly depends on where we post. One of the new subreddits grew by 300 overnight with just 1 post.
