I havent had a friend in a long time.
But there is something to be said about getting advice or opinions from people. And i may disagree up to a point with you OP.
Its like, if you give advice to someone and they just shit on everything for the sake of shitting on everything, thats one thing. Not great.
But ive encountered in life more than once situations where youd ask someone for advice, and theyd give it, and id start picking at it, either because picking at it could improve on it or get me to a better solution for my situation. And id like to pick it with the person that gave it, because they can probably answer questions about the details of the advice they gave.
But then i saw more then once where people get offended or annoyed if you pick at their advice. I dont like these people. Its like, are you giving advice or are you giving orders? You suck.
Its like if you came to me and asked how to have sex, and i told you you just put the thing in the thing. And then you said maybe you can put the thing in the back thing? And i got upset, because i already told you how to do it, and you shouldnt analyze it. Fucking stupid retarded shit.
So yeah, maybe you can put it in the back thing. I never thought of that. But it makes sense, it may work. Then you go, oh but what if i finish there, will it make a baby? Oh man i dont know about that really, you should google it or ask somebody else i dont know about that.
So but anyway, most people arent open for going deep on topics, unless those topics is some stupid bullshit that doesnt matter at the end of the day, like where they went for vacation or something retarded like that.

Because of these toxic people, I even started to think that friends and socializing are also overrated. Why did I just met you at a bar? To just listen to your criticism and insults which look down on me?
So even peeing is better than even wasting 30 seconds with these kind of people. If I spent my 5000 hours on a project instead of on a toxic person like him, that would make me maybe $100k in total.
You are right. I felt terrible every second that I spent with him. These kind of people just kill your productivity. I even had worse friends than him, at least this guy has some dreams and still studying. I had some "0" productive friends who can't do nothing in life and just throw shit at you all the time.
