Will ChatGPT kill blogging and Google?

So I have been reading a lot about the capabilities of the new ChatGPT and wondering if bloggers like myself have a future? Multiple sources have highlighted how ChatGPT seamlessly and effortlessly provides answers to questions and complicated codes. It therefore will mean, people don't need to search on Google for them to read through series of search results.

Why my fear is that the revenue generating module on Google is to make money from ads by placing them on blogs and other mediums. So, if ChatGPT truly kills Google, blogging will perish as well. Am I crazy?

What do you say guys?

honestly so many people fear go haywire with this ai tools, just go artist discord and see how they condemt std dalle etc.
it's tools guys, use it and make your work easier and better
 
The question is with controversies about AI

Would people accept it fully unlike Google that accepted worldwide

No I doon't think so, ChatGPT will not kill blogging or Google. While ChatGPT can provide automated responses to inquiries, it cannot replace the creative and analytical work of blogging or the search engine capabilities of Google.
 
Impossible because Google relies on the Internet and external data, but OpenAI relies on data that has been collected/scraped and reformulated/trained.
 
I'm trying ChatGPT now. I think it's good for gathering information and ideas that I will include in my articles. But no way I will publish the content verbatim.
 
If there isn't a Google, there is no ChatGPT. Just think about how the ChatGPT works?

GPT - Generative Pretrained Transformer. This is an AI NLP (Natural Language Processing) model.

GPT is a trained template collected from SERP results, dump databases, source points, and more. GPT gives you the trained abstract, it won't give results. It can be an alternative to an enhanced search of how we extract the best from Google and it cannot replace Google, Google is a set of structured dataset libraries.

You mean comparing the shipyard vs the current ship about to departure.
 
I hope it will. Blogging and "internet marketing" is a scourge in general. Time to put an end to endless bullshit articles.

Don't forget that Google has way superior technology than ChatGPT, stuff like LamDA that they are keeping under wraps. Just wait a few months til they release it and blow ChatGPT out of the water.
 
i don't think, it has limited informations
even if it has the ability to create a lot of things and do a lot of stuff, google has a lot more to offer

Absolutely right
 
The content from ChatGPT is better than some I've paid for to be honest. But I won't be using it verbatim on my sites. It's okay to help with ideas and outlines, but I think the content is basic and generic enough that content written by a real writer offering things like opinions, data based research, real life examples etc. will win in the long run.
 
But if we all stop blogging, where will it find the informations to provide to its users? And what about people who live in third-world countries blocked by many tools like that?
Personally, I think Google and blogging will continue to exist, but we will have to adapt to the new users needs.

Plus most people will stop using it if this becomes paid or will look for group buy access.
 
No way, just think about it. A lot of people will publish ai generated articles and google knows this. they will surely find a way to patch this thing and you'll still need hq original articles. maybe in the short run, it will work, but in the long run, it won't for sure.
